    Well, that would be great if we could actually take them through portals. Right now, they are stuck wherever they are spawned.

    Not exactly. For instance people with fly can take horses extremely long distances. On a side note, about the portals. If we could take horses through portals you could bring horses back from mining world, which would probably make winning horse eggs pointless.
