Minecraft Username: FuriuosGeorge Brief Description: if you build a lever with 1 redstone dust next to a gate sign it works fine add a hidden switch and it breaks it till you make the dust point a the gate sign Instructions: 1. build a gate that works (feat in it's self) 2. place a dust on the block to the side of it 3. place a lever over the dust 4. trigger lever and gate works fine 5. add hidden switch over the lever 6. use hidden to toggle lever and the lever toggles but gate does not 7. use lever directly and it works as it should 8. move the lever/switch build 1 block away from sign and add a second dust so it points at gate sign 9. use hidden or lever and everything works properly. How many times did you recreate this?: 2. once in the presence of @EtherealSquid Result: hidden switch buggers everything up and makes you have to direct your dust at the target Expected Result: It to just effing work!
@UnitedStates2 will look into this and report back with more information. (Same thing as https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/door-and-bridge-left-right-lines-got-reversed.184469/) Please let me know what's going on. @FuriuosGeorge a video would be really helpful as well, or detailed images of what works and what doesn't.
Trust me i would love to provide that but I use cellular for my isp so this takes 10 - 20 min just to post and find on the forums. I can't record video and uploading screnies takes about 30 min for me.
@andrewkm Replicated this with FuriuosGeorge ingame. Fairly hard to convey the issue over text alone, so here's a video of me testing the stuff: Basically, as you can see, if there's only one redstone dust connecting a Craftbook bridge, gate, door, etc., with a hidden switch, hidden switches do not work. But if there's two or more redstone dust connecting them, hidden switches do work.
Awesome, thank you. I've made a report for the developer and posted this on his issue tracker. Hopefully the information here is good enough to get a fix.
