this server is fun :D and ill try and explain everything you dont understand:

1. Mayor is 100k total from builder, 15k for resident and 85k for mayor. It is not stupidly hard to obtain, but a worthy challenge all the same. Infomation about town making can be found on out wiki.
2. Nether Stars come from voting and are used as a 2nd currency to buy unobtainable items which make loads of money. Examples include Melon Swords and Efficiency 7 Pickaxes.
3. Griefing is allowed in the wild, mining and nether worlds, Not in towns (check if it is a town with /rg i ) tnt is disabled on ecc, except in the nether
4. You can buy mayor which gives a protected 100x100-200x200 region, or buy plots in a town
5. Ask ingame for town openings etc

The requirements to get a town/become mayor are fairly simple, you need to have the resident rank and you need to apply for mayor, more information about this can you can find on the wiki

Nether stars are an item you can sell to other players or trade in for special tools (for 1500 nstars you can get an efficiency 7 unbreaking 3 silk touch 1 pickaxe for example)

TNT only works in the Nether, and in the nether it's all allowed.

You can protect a 100x100 - 200x200 area when you become a mayor, protecting single chunks is not possible though.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.

I am glad that you like the server, so I will try my best to answer all the questions that you have stated.

1.) The requirements of mayor is to have 85,000 eco dollars, have the town zoned out, and be the rank of resident. Which does seem like a daunting task at first, but it can be a great investment. As for how to get a town, first off you will need to get the rank of resident, which costs 15,000 eco-dollars, can to fill out the resident application on the forums. To learn more information about the topics, I would recommend the "/help ranks" and "/help money" commands while you are logged into the server. In addition, click here to see the mayor application and its requirements as it is listed on the wiki.

2.) Netherstars are a second currency that is used, and is mainly used to purchase items from the netherstar shop( also known as the rare item shop). As a new user to the server, I wouldn't recommend saving for those items until you are a higher rank, it would be better to sell them for eco-dollars. You can sell them to the server for $150 with the "/sell netherstar" command, however selling to players can earn about double what the server will pay at the current player price. The best way to sell to a user is advertise you are selling them in trade chat "/ch tr", or sell them to a store in the user market.

3.) Griefing is allowed in the unprotected wild of the Legacy(The new name for the Main world), Mining world, and the Nether. As for the tnt cannon, tnt can only be placed and used in the Nether.

4.) The only way to get protected land of your own is to apply for a town of your own. If you want to get protected land, you will have to buy a plot in a town that is owned by another user, and I would highly recommend doing so. Make sure to look up the rules of the town before buying a plot, as all towns contain different rules based on how the mayor wants to run their town.

5.) I'm not up-to-date on towns that are selling plots to give a good recommendation anymore. What I can advise is looking for towns in Trade chat, and looking in the sub-forums for towns: Town subforum and Nation Subforum.
