Minecraft Username: Mylinn Brief Description: On Pixel's farm, harvesting wheat with scoreboard up, I noticed herbalism stopped about the same time in every row I harvested. GayBeagle dropped by and found no stop to the exp gain. I reloged and continued to have a freeze in exp around z -2388 in each row. Instructions: (only happened to me apparently) 1. in Rising, start from 3509 64 -2255 2. harvest wheat by hand 3. have herbalism scoreboard up 4. harvest while watching exp numbers 5. slow down around z -2380 and watch closely 6. Mine number stopped changing consistently at z -2388 How many times did you recreate this? some 10 rows before I spoke up in chat. 6 more rows after Beagle tried a few rows. wen back and redid now grown rows skipping about 10 between. End point seemed to vary a few blocks from z -2380 to z -2388 on 3428 63 z -2392 it ended went to sell, cleared 2 rows with full exp near other end of farm floor. Then back to freezing. All across farm. Did the /warp figos to sell and back but it didn't work a 2nd time. Result: no herbalism exp from about z -2388 to z -2451 Expected Result: should have gotten herbalism xp Evidence: I do have a video of me going towards the freeze spot, past it and back up next row. Exp resumes after I pass the freeze spot.
can confirm when i was farming the same rows, i was earning herbalism experience the entire time. however Mylinn herbalism wasnt moving.
Are you using the vanilla client? This is probably some sort of mcMMO anti-cheat detection of some sort. There's no way for me to even begin to investigate this until 1.17 is fully released, so best bet is to perhaps use a different farm and see if it happens there as well.
Video shows vanilla client @andrewkm Just a thought, perhaps the seeds planted that didn't give mcMMO exp might have been planted with a magic hoe? I find it strange that it only happened at certain spots.
The seeds planted were by hand, prior to magic day, I destroyed same crop area at same time and got normal mcmmo xp
Yeah, this is definitely a weird one, will have to wait for 1.17 to attend to this report. Please bump it after our real 1.17 update if it's still happening.
Cool, didn't expect an answer (love playing pre alpha games so know wonky things need as much data as possible to track down). Back home and running in to see if it still happens. If so, will let alt pay for farm access and try - could be on my end somehow. vanilla client? please educate me Is there something I am lacking grin?
He's asking if you run any mods on your client. Sometimes client-side modifications(or just mods) can interfere with your experience on ECC. We don't make changes to support any client modifications but the information is useful to help us potentially track down the cause. If you haven't added anything to your client and it is the very client that comes from mojang as is, then it is a vanilla client. "vanilla" literally means "as is" or "no modifications" But as he said, if it continues after 1.17 update is released then bump it.
Thanks mate, I am still having the issue but just shrug. Haven't noticed it anywhere else. I did switch back to last version (was on latest during vid). Will try on trees to see if is hoe related for ya. sigh, wrong account - pretend Mylinn said this please.
