I updated java a little while ago as well. Well, the autoupdater did, but all the same.

I was playing on another server, but now I can't log into ECC?

I get the same error messages.

edit: I've found the Java error logs, since Minecraft wouldn't shut down. Maybe it'll help somebody find the solution?

Yeah, I was stuck on "Logging in" for a couple minutes while trying to connect earlier, and then it gave me "End of stream."
I know other people that have had the same problem. But I wonder what's causing it.

 

My whole minecraft freezes whenever I try to log in now, to the point i have to force-stop it...

 

That's what happened to me twice... I think that's actually what the logs are from...

 

It only seems like it freezes, it's not freezing, just not doing anything...xD
If you give it a minute, it will give you an error. Most of the time, it's "End of stream" for me.
This keeps happening on and off all day. I tried connecting to the server, and it did this, I tried again, and I was in. Happened again an hour later, but it only lasted for like 2 minutes. Now it's the "Real thing" :p

did you try to log in on the server list,not the dircect connection,cause i can NEVER log in from the list,hate it.so try the direct
