is there a way to block users from posting on your threads?

is there any consequences to players who keep on posting on threads that they have been asked to not post on by the thread creator?

not on the forums a lot but the short time here I have encountered several people I wish I hadn't.

Sadly, no. You can always use the ignore features which hides whatever a certain user posts.
Click on the persons name, and then in the options bar, click ignore.
    Hope this helped!

However, you may request for them to stop posting as you said, and they can receive forum warnings for their continued disobedience.
