I am trying to get into the server but every time i click join after entering server ip address it says could not connect invalid session. please help.
Invalid session means your session has expired and you need to completely restart your client. Close it all out, then open it up again and start Minecraft again.
Close completely out of minecraft, load back up the launcher, sign out of your account and then sign back in. That should fix that issue.
What version of Minecraft are you trying to run? Last night I tried switching to 1.14.3 and 1.14.2 and both versions kept crashing the launcher before it would load. So I changed back to 1.13.2 and it would load, but then I suddenly couldn’t log into any servers because it kept saying they were invalid. I’m not saying we are having the same issue and this may not work for you, but I had to restart my whole computer, load up 1.13.2 and then it finally let me join the server again. Try that. If it doesn’t help, I’m sorry, I don’t know what the issue is and you may have to contact someone about your account through Minecraft.net.
I have had a lot of problems with 1.14+. It's working fine now but I couldn't play 1.14 or higher as it would just crash with the new launcher. Try switching back to the old version of the launcher by repeating these steps: Open the Minecraft launcher as you normally would. Go to the 'settings' page. Select 'Use beta version of the launcher'. Click yes if it asks you to make sure that you want to use and older version Close out of the launcher completely and start it up again. It should open the older launcher (may have to re-install itself which will happen automatically if needs be) and see if you are able to join the server.
