So recently I've been asking around in chat to no avail. Currently I am a builder. Is it true that you first pay 15k for resident, then 85k for mayor? Also once you are mayor how do u purchase a town? Do you buy it from the server or strictly from other players? And you get world guard? Thanks for your help ima newb :).

To get the rank Mayor, you will first need Resident. Resident is 15k, and you can apply here on the forums. Once you get Resident, then you are able to get 85k for the Mayor rank. Mayors are able to create a brand new town from out in the wild. These towns are protected by WorldGuard, so only members can place blocks there. This will help prevent griefing. When you go to apply for Mayor, you will need to set up 4 town posts. These posts can be placed anywhere in the wild, but make sure you are not within 15 blocks of another town.
