[Help!] Nether Stars may soon completely leave voting.

@jdwager I dont think sg is the way to go, theres too many people that, like myself, CAN NOT pvp.

 

well what ever you do, please bear in mind that there are some of us out here that are saving stars and have 500k ecd worth of stars saved up for a 2k star tool ect and it was not easy getting there.

when is this change expected to take place?

 

make it a /kit, simple as it gets no fancy pants needed.

stays easy to get the same way as now and no plugins or timers to get then

 

This is mainly a problem for voting sites, they will die when people don't get rewards for voting, because nobody will work his way through all this crappy captchashit or even open a link when he get's nothing for it. For serverowners the only solution that will work out on the long run are custom launchers. Would be best if all the voting sites and server owners work hand in hand to say EULA -> FOAD and agree on a open source custom launcher project. Otherwise the next breaking EULA change from Mojang will bring up similar problems and they will do it.

Though if there is a kit that gives *one* netherstar per specific hours, maybe add a one-time kit that gives multiple amounts of netherstars? Just like the current 6 vote sites that give 6 netherstars, uually new players need considerable amount of funds to purchase a plot/home and some other funds.

Unless if it is a kit that gives multiple netherstars at once intervally.

 

This would be really great. I would still vote if the reward were a booster after a certain point. Maybe not as consistently as I do now, but I would still contribute.

Maybe also have some new cosmetic currency that you get for voting that lets you buy cosmetic features. I would totally vote to save up for pets. I want a cat, and a polar bear, and a creeper, and another cat, and a squid, and...

Seriously though, voting will take a hit for all servers, so the ones who manage to keep some kind of EULA-compliant reward will float to the top of the list.

 

I like the kit idea. Yet i also like the idea of working towards more nstars. So what if you did the kit but lowered the amount of nstars players would be getting, and have milestones where players can earn them each day. Or have contest every so often where players can compete and earn the nether stars / a specific day where they can join in a a bunch of games and if they win they get nether stars(This would not be daily more like every month).

 

Maybe a plugin? The CrateReloaded plugin could work. You can still have the Lucky rewards, and have it so that you get the key through a kit.

i think kits would work - since we can just vote it and use kits but hwoever ECC needs find alternate ways for money - without Nstars from votes - its would make things more hard
