Due to the donation of an anonymous benefactor of EcoLeader status, I am very excited to announce that I now hold the funds to become a mayor and found the Walled City of Volticade! I have found a solid location and I will be applying for Mayorship later today!
Unfortunately, I cannot carry out my duties as co-mayor. But if you'd like to pitch Newsilver into the Volticadian Empire, me and Eek could maybe appoint someone to continue the operation of fixing up the town.
Volticadian empire eh? How exactly is this empire going to work? And if I decided to join, I could of course run the town, instead of having you appoint someone?
It's described in detail on the thread. I'm responsible for the entire Empire, Grand Dukes manage the Grand Duchies within the main Volticadian territory, Dukes manage the Duchies within the Grand Duchies, and Lords manage the townships outside of the main Volticadian territory. The loyalty of all nobles to the Prince is enforced through contracts. If you wanted to join, you would absolutely retain your position as head of the town, along with a title as Lord of Newsilver and a cut of the money in return for the sovereignty of your town.
I read the entire post. While I was lost for about half of it (Blarg, titles) I did try and get most of it (note: made tons more sense after i googled "duchies"). It seems all very interesting but you have a lot of ranks to fill, anyway, I think we should continue this on your other thread.
