I say making the mode hard in the pvp world, maybe the mining world, but not in the main world.

The point is that the mainworld is a peaceful world where you shouldn't have to worry about dying.
The mining world is a semi-peaceful world where a lot of builders are, they are new to the game and have no food, they're likely to die and quit the server.

In the end this would only be a good thing in the pvp world and nether, they're hostile environments.

 

The difficulty is set on easy not normal currently.

 

Many new players don't have food. If you are a new player trying to start off, but keep getting killed with all your items, there would be many more players quitting. In the main world, I often don't carry around food, rather just fly. Many people would get fed up with this and this would probably cause more vulgarity in global because the players would be unhappy they died. -1

 

This is not a server where people have to work hard to survive, this is a server where people have to work hard to gain money and rank up.

Also, the fact that you can doesn't mean that everyone can or thinks about that, the majority of the builders who come on the server are < 13 year olds who barely have any understanding of how minecraft works, all they know is that they have to kill cows and pigs for food, but they won't find any.

I have to disagree, while it true 90% of the builders don't know how a server works, they mostly all know how minecraft works.
Who goes to muliplayer before they play singleplayer?

 

More people than you think, and most kids who know how minecraft works usually hunt animals, not realizing you can make wheat.

 

I thought about spamming "HAHAHA" all across this post, but spam isn't allowed...i don't know a single minecrafter who doesn't know what wheat is, or how to use and get it.
