Nah, the people spending the most money are adults. Kids only manage to spend that much with stolen creditcards or with parental consent. (and a very very small amount just has a lot of money to spend)
I've yet to see a child donate more than $50 (actually donated, not bought with ign money) and not have stolen their parents' creditcard to do it.

The true whales are adults with jobs who have actual money to spend. The biggest ones are the ones selling features and can easily end up spending thousands. Ain't no kids spending thousands.

I'm not saying the features aren't stupidly overpriced and pay2win. But this isn't anything to prey on kids' money, lol.

Hi.

When you run a server that has gone through many ups and downs, sometimes peaking at 400 players, and other times only reaching 20 players during on-peak, for 5 years on end, and continue to do so, so many years down the road; perhaps then I will even slightly bother taking what you say to heart.

I have seen dozens beyond dozens of extremely popular servers, that started around the early times we started, all shut down because of dumb drama. This will never be the case with ECC.

I don't usually respond to these kinds of hate threads, but I felt like doing so out of the blue this time. I know of dozens of servers that were absolutely huge 5 years ago that are now completely shut down because they couldn't handle it, yet no matter what kind of drama and/or situation is thrown at me, I have always, and always will continue doing what I do. After 5 years of this, no amount of hate/drama/trolling/etc will ever make me give in and shut down.

EcoCityCraft is far more than a Minecraft server. To many we are a community, in fact far more, a family, a place we feel welcomed, where we have made and hold true friends, where we feel at home.

ECC will survive. ECC is here to stay. ECC will go on. Period.

With that said; I hope you enjoy which ever community you end up with & no matter who I'm talking to (a fan or a hater) we always love to see people stick around =)

By the way, ECC is completely free-to-play and many users have thousands of dollars of features simply by using their EcoDollars. Saying we are squeezing money out of young kids is literally beyond a stupid statement.
