Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all!

Best be updating this. Lots of things going on in life, pretty busy with little time to play. Hoping to return soon, so keep your eyes peeled on my forum status to see when this guy will be back ingame ;)

Other than that, not a lot has changed. I was pretty disappointed to say the least about the new SG medals, but I am also glad that they will be changing them around soon. I personally cannot wait to see what the community comes up with, and maybe make me remotely interested in going past diamond ;)

As for the whole cookpot thing in the last few days: I was truly unaffected. I have Creations+, and kinda thought: "Oh, cool, a new feature to mess around with." However, when I return, expect a smelting service to be set up somewhere for people to use. I know the change is rough and I want to offer people my feature to help them out a bit. I mean, why "hoard" it? :p

Green Bay still is expected to roll around, and more plans are being worked on. If all goes well, I can expect to get Green Bay up within a few weeks after returning, and get the suburbs rolling out. Just as a fair warning, I will be looking for people to purchase mayor/president towns from in order to transfer to my name. So, if you are a builder/resident or have a builder/resident waiting to rank up, send them my way when I put up the thread in the For Sale section of the forums :)

I also decided to start thinking about how to get all of the forum medals. I know that I most likely will not have Subscriber Silver and Gold until I am near done with ECC, so that is out there. My hope is that I can get Lucky Lotto and Crazy Lotto out of the way, as well as begin attacking the collector medals. A few blocks a day can, and most likely will, go a long way. Pet Collector Wolf is also out there, as I can get 6 pets or so (if on a sale) for 600k or less + 1 upgrade. EZ, or so I think xD

Welp, lots of plans, but life has to sort itself out first. Hope to be back soon, and like I said before, stay posted on my status for periodic updates on my full return.

No core list updates. More of a status of where things are at.

 

3/24 Status Update:

Well, not a lot of new things around ingame. Life has really kept me busy, and looks to be that way for a bit still.

But, that's not stopping planning by any means. Today, Phys released the ExtCreationsPlus2 Package. I might see some value in the no cooldown on the /smelt command, so I might save up for that. I don't know. It seems good. I also have purchased BackPack during one of my short stints ingame from @jwpwns for 97k ECD. I never expected to buy the feature, but having an "enderchest" that won't clear and has no current bugs seemed like a solid deal for me. I now keep my max gear and a set of ProtIV on hand at any time, in addition to what I have in my enderchest. It is great for when I am hopping between farming and mining and building and such.

I am also adding a PvP Arena and Clan Base for my clan, Vanguard, into the plans for GreenBay. I plan to put it in either an adjacent town, or in one of the 9. Not too sure yet.

I am also working on design and how to improve building skills. Why? Because I know that GreenBay needs to have some sort of infrastructure, and that would sit squarely on my shoulders as President and Mayor. Plus, I know mansions can make some hefty cash to old players if they are built up to standards and are intricate.

3/30 Update:

Well, the last week has been pretty eventful. The release of ExtCreationsPlus2, release of the forum bank, stock trader, and sportsbook have increased player count and made the forums a superbly active place. And, I was not left out by any means. I deposited over 85,000 into my bank account, and started investing in stocks. But, I saw warning as soon as the trader was released. 24/7 purchasing scared me, so I reported for a potential exploit. I did some testing with close monitoring with Phys and Andrew and, between the three of us, we determined an exploit was present. Andrew patched it quick, and I was rewarded nicely with a $100 giftcard. I decided to sell it, and got 600k for it almost immediately.

So, I am now 600k richer, and have the highest balance I have had in my time on ECC.

Plans for this 600k? Bank it and invest it for a startool. I am hoping to get a Melon Sword or Eff7 soon, as I only need 400k or 250k more (respectively) in order to purchase! \o/

Then what? Debts, then Green Bay will come to prevalence.

In the meantime, I'll be trading stocks and making some more money to get that star tool! Feel free to PM me about any questions regarding stocks, or the Trader. I won't necessarily give tips off the cuff, but if you have questions on what to look for in a successful stock, PM me ;)

It was "worth the price of admission" for what I reported. When I reported it, the first trades hadn't even been made, and I (think) I helped save millions from being made effortlessly.

Spring Break Update (4/11):

Well, this week was very interesting. I came back out of inactivity and stints ingame in full force and guns-a-blazin' , with goals to complete a with a week to play. And, I did exactly that, or so I think I did (feel free to correct me if I am wrong :p). Over this week, I have done the following:

~Achieved SG Diamond: I got the medal mid-week, on the 8th. I finally made it to my goal of 300,000 SG points, that goal that I set for myself personally almost one full year ago. I did about half of that without kits, and the rest of the way with only 1 Plus2 kit (CCPP). I also made it 75% or so of the way without Buffer, which I personally believe is an accomplishment in the "Buffer Age". I also completed the medal with over a 3.0 K/D ratio, something that I never expected to do, honestly. The fact that I maintained such a high level of play over a full year is astounding, and I am really proud I made it this far in my SG career.

~Achieved Sportsbook Bronze: Well, I got this medal on the 9th, after winning a bet on the Hawks game. I got myself back to even (amount won vs amount lost), so I'm happy now :p

~@ChargerBoltz5 is President: Yes, he got president by my pushing. I told him that if I payed him back my 200k I owed him, he had to get President as I was running out of space in Titletown for plots and such. What did he do? Exactly that. And, now DairyLand is almost flat, and ready for building!

~Minerun!: I was able to participate in a mineral just last night, and I throughly enjoyed it! Despite andrew's fails, I /v'ed and superbreakered my way to 4 McMMO mining levels and 55k in less than 10 minutes. I would totally do it again, and maybe try my hand at the PvP aspect if I improve :)

~@oRON647 is (almost) a President: In order to kickstart my GreenBay town project, oRON asked me if I was interested in using his President town as the focal piece to my SuperTown. I said yes, and he became bound and determined to get it. So, I expect a start of the project on or around the 19th, when some loans return to oRON.

~ Debt-Free!: Pretty self-explanatory. The only thing under the debts column is my Spawn Statue "debt", which is really just a recurring payment of 42,500 per month until next April. Only a few hours a work per month for medals = happy me!

So that really is the major accomplishments. I also played a lot of Skywars, which actually helps a lot with Speed 2 and God Apple PvP :p

As for the actual goals thread, I limited myself to a few goals for now, as I am going back into school with a lot to get done. I only plan on Tycoon, @SEAHAWKES's Mayor Town, and about $90 in donations for now, but, once school ends, I plan to work on some more at any given time.

GreenBay will be kickstarted by oRON's town, and will be developed as I go (and once oRON has time too).

I added, removed, and edited a bunch of stuff, too much to chronicle here. I encourage you to look at the main post to see what I have in store!

Darn, it's been 10 days since I updated this. .-.

I got Tycoon shortly after my last post. I made enough and got an extended loan from @oRON647 (no, he's poor now, no loans atm xP) and got AdmiralD to buy my claim from me as I saw no need (the town I want is still unclaimable, and I didn't feel like waiting). So, after 369 days (1 year and 4 days), I became a Tycoon and joined the massive mosh pit of current Tycoons+.

I am also gotten really into the whole Stock Trader competition. I finally found something that I am good at, and I think I can do well in. So far, I have 6 stocks with 7.5% or higher gains, and one with almost 50%. I hope to get that first medal soon, maybe as soon as after the close tomorrow...? :D

But, I've also decided to start slowing down on my goals. I have found many real life interests and commitments, and feel that I would have more fun if I got up and went out for a while. So, my current plans have been adjusted. I plan to pay off the spawn statue and pay oRON off gradually as time allows. GreenBay will be there, but, I don't know quite yet how I will ever get the time to develop it :p I might have oRON and ChargerBoltz5 help me during the summer sometime. But, we shall see.

Wow, haven't updated this in a while!

So, I have gotten the Stock Trader Medal Bronze since the last update, as well as acquired an eff7 from @Chundi_Jr on a payment plan. Two pretty important goals knocked out, but still a lot to do. My focus for right now is to pay off loans/debts that I currently have, as well as get some money under myself (hoping around 750k or so, not sure at the moment.) When I do that, I should be able to right the ship and get Green Bay under way (or something else), or so the theory proposes. I have lots of things to do, so it will probably come slowly over the next year or so.

I also applied for staff. I am extremely appreciative of the positive response the community has given me, and I hope to continue to serve everyone well as a Moderator or a regular player! :)

Update 5/13

Well, the last few days have been quite interesting. Not only did I have a goal shift, I had a very short Moderator stint as well. I resigned a mere 48 hours after the announcing of the promotion, due to IRL issues. More information can be found on my profile page.

But, as for the goal shift, I really want to enjoy myself on ECC more; just having fun building, SGing, and derping with friends. Therefore, I am saving up for a spawnshop, which I know can be managed with an hour a day of playtime. But, from past experiences, having a good location counts. So, I looked around and determined that 1-3rd rows were too much, but some other shops weren't, including stations 11 and 95. With reasonable prices, I figure I can start and run a shop properly without trouble during the summer, and I can make money without having to mine for hours on end.

Once I save up for a spawnshop, I plan to stockpile cash. Why? With the announcement of NFl in sports book and the iPad contest being over in stock trader around the season start in September, I could make a lot of money with my knowledge of football. Therefore, I plan to save up as much money as I can (hoping around 1-2 million) solely for stocks and sports book. Just another way to make money, but more fun! :)

But, that's about it. Still looking for a user to buy me the Bitcoin medal at some point, so if you know anyone, tell them to shoot me a forum PM about it and I will get back to them as soon as I can.
