Minecraft Username: TheRealAllyH Brief Description: Gates aren't closing properly Instructions: Created gates of a few different sizes (10x4, 6x5) with white pane glass How many times did you recreate this?: At least a dozen, as well as other players attempting. Result: Only a few of the blocks are placed back into the gate, the rest stay in the sign. Expected Result: The gate to close all the way Evidence:
When I tried gates as a single unit they worked just fine. What I am finding is that if I have two gates setup touching each other, or two gate signs on the same border they are messing up. The top middle sign only interacts with the 10x4. The middle middle sign will interact with either the left or right side and cause issues with the blocks not fully placing/removing later on. @TheRealAllyH does your setup have connections to other gate borders or gate-compatible blocks that it might be interfering with?
Yeah checking out your specific set up, it appears to not be functioning correctly. Tho I am not able to determine what the actual issue is.
I tested gates again and I see the problem gate on Main is still having issues however I tested the gate setup on MainSouth and it works perfectly normally. I also tested with the region flag setup, mirroring the setup in the town on MS and the gates still work but not on Main. I haven't been able to find the issue between Main and MS that would cause the gate not to function properly. -Gate isn't working properly on Main, works fine on MS. -Gate does have enough blocks to fill the gate. -Gate is not attached to any other gates. Location of gate on Main: /tppos -7412 -12 -8514 Location of test gate on MainSouth (mining world): /tppos 7503 74 -2138
Thank you for the reports. This looks like an issue with the new Y levels. If the gate is below Y level 0 it does not work correctly. @ClarinetPhoenix will be filing a report with the developers later today to try and get this fixed. For now we ask you keep your gates above 0 if possible.
