I have been browsing the XenForo resources area and I have found some add-ons that I think would be beneficial for EcoCityCraft's forum. Profile Cover Photos This addon lets users set background cover photos on their profile pages. This allows for a more personalised forum profile page. This feature could perhaps be added to the forum Gold/Lite upgrades to further enhance the upgrade and perhaps attract more people to buy it as it is another perk to the list. www.xenforo.com/community/resources/profile-cover.5151/ Personal Block This addon allows users to create a block on their forum sidebar to keep notes within. It could be used to store links to screenshots of transactions, payments to be made to users, a to-do-list perhaps. Simply an area to store information for the user to access and view quickly. Again, this is something I feel could be added to forum Gold/Lite to try and attract more buyers. www.xenforo.com/community/resources/4968/ Logout of all devices This addon adds another layer of security for users. If a user feels their account is being accessed or simply wants to log out from all devices they have accessed the forums on, this addon allows for that to happen. www.xenforo.com/community/resources/4563/ Start Conversation This addon generates a button on users profiles for the visiting user to initiate a new conversation with that user. It allows users to send a message much more efficiently from the users profile. www.xenforo.com/community/resources/4178/ These are just a few things I came across to make the forum experience a little bit different. As in you can keep your own notes personally on your computer with a sticky notes program or a text file.
I know, it's just an additional feature for people to keep all their ECC stuff on the forums - that's my ideology behind it.
Cover Photo +1 Personal Block wouldn't care either way Logout of all devices +1 great for security Start Conversation +1 but... this does come up on that little pop up so, not so awful?
+1 I like these ideas and I think that the extra bit of customization that could be provided by the profile cover photos would be a nice addition to personalize ones' profile.
Perhaps now the forum gold price has been increased, these could be added? Or at least the first one.
