    I'm having something similar with larger image files (~10MB) and inserting the image from Dropbox. Smaller images seem work fine though (~3MB). Pretty consistent for me.

    Slightly off-topic and mainly unrelated to the bug itself: Could it be that ECC's image proxy was setup on December 2nd or 3rd?

    I also suffered that issue when I posted certain drawings from Imgur in my "My Art" thread. Fortunately, I rarely suffered this since I now used DeviantArt picture as I did in Imgur.
