Minecraft Username: 314

Brief Description:
Some [ IMG ] pictures are not displayed when viewing the thread, but they appear in edit mode. Also, selecting images and then choosing "Reply" breaks the [ IMG ] within the [ QUOTE ]. This seems to be related to ECC's image proxy?

Instructions:
1. Add images to a post. Hope that it bugs?
Alternatively...
2. Select text plus [ IMG ] tag from another user's post. Select "Reply" from the appearing menu. Post your reply.

I don't have any screenshots of the [ IMG ] bug within [ QUOTE ] tags, but I can reproduce the bug if needed.

 

If this is yet another 314-exclusive bug, I am figuratively about to cry. .-.

Please tell me the quote shows a "Missing picture" image? :cry:

That is exactly my point. Selecting content on a post and choosing the selective reply will replace the URL with the proxy URL, effectively breaking the image.

 

My point is that the URL I select is automatically formatted that way - before the image proxy was added a long time ago, quoting a picture would simply copy the URL and display it. Since the addition of the image proxy, it seems to ignore the actual URL which it should place in a proxy URL and instead embeds the proxy URL from the quoted post.

If I want the image to display properly, I actually need to click on the picture in the edit area and replace the proxy URL with the actual URL.

 

Bump - the problem with ECC's image proxy nesting proxy URLs within each other when using "Reply" after selecting still exists.

 

I went through a few pages of xenForo image proxy bug reports... I'll see whether I find the time to report it soon.

Please tell me you are not referring to the image proxy nesting, but only the normal images not displaying? :cry:
