Very nice - Please let me know if for some reason that buyer does not come thru as I am willing to go higher than the 650k, but am unable to purchase at 1.3 mil +. Wishing you the best of success.
The reason being is that we think you're bluffing, and would like to confirm this offer actually exists instead of purposefully bidding us up.
It is completely in his rights to "bluff" if he wants to - it is a game after all. He also could simply say he is currently not wanting to accept anything less than 1.3 mil at this time. There are no rules stated in regards to these negotiations except that common sense and no scam be involved - which in this case whether he has an offer or not would never be considered a scam imho. MCH has proven himself above and beyond a positive influence but these negotiations can become quite frustrating at times. He is not scamming - just looking for the best price for his shop. Naturally, he wants to sell at the highest price, and we wish to purchase at the lowest price but it is up to him to decide whether to sell at current market value or not.
I would not say the player is an idiot that would pay that amount for the shop - it is a 2nd row shop after all. Unfortunately, the value for these market shops has dropped significantly in the last several months.
Wow thanks Greek for calling me an idiot really appreciate that. I have sat at shop 42 making not much of anything for probably 8 months I thought I would take a crack at a shop that was closer to traffic. If I hold it long enough and keep it stocked it should return my investment if not oh well last time I checked this is a game and it is play money. I offered that much because that is what they want to sell the shop and I want a shop up front end of story. Thanks, Gene
I do not feel that anyone has been "majorly ripped off" unless the buyer was forced to purchase it against his will. It seems that MCH asked for an amount and the buyer said he would pay it. You may not feel it is worth it (and I doubt you feel that the front row shops are worth the 6 mil or so they have brought at auction either) but that does not mean that someone is an idiot because they do. I personally think any deal where the buyer and seller both are happy, it is a good deal.
