Whatever the cap is, I am pretty sure Andrew has a good reason for it. Going too fast will create major lag..especially if a bunch of people go that max speed.

 

I've seen people flying at current max speed... It's quite fast enough. It may seem slow because you said you flew even faster elsewhere... Human minds can easily get "tricked" into thinking something else is slower than it really is once they've experienced faster.

 

Forgetting the lag, increasing the cap on /speed would have another undesired effect. The current cap has been measured and allows people to make a certain amount of money per hour by, for example, farming. Say we do decide to increase the speed, said farming prices would be lowered to keep the money per hour ratio where it was before. Though it would be cool to be going even faster than we already can, I'd have to say that the negatives of this severely outweigh the positive effects of this suggestion.

 

I have no issue with the fly cap as it is. In fact, I can barely control myself when I'm on /speed 10. Its already really fast lol.

That being said, I also agree that it has severe farming implications. So for those reason I will have to say no.
