I don't see the thrill in being first, last, 29th, 103rd, 73rd, 13th and so on. It's getting old. But a staff member would have to be one I the first people on the server in order to catch this.

 

Personally, I don't see this as a threat to our server. Most people see this as a "game", just typing it for fun. It usually doesn't last more than 10 seconds and gives players something to look forward to during restarts. In the other hand, spamming the chat with insults on the server and before a restart is not acceptable.

 

Here's my logic.
People spam "First" to be first in chat and "Last" to be last in chat.

Once somebody says "First", there is no incentive to "beat them to it". In contrast, when somebody says "Last", it incites the whole server to "beat them to it", causing massive spam.

Do you get what I mean?

 

But I do see where you are coming from. It's just that the "First" thing isn't as big as a problem as the "Last" thing. If it gets bad, we'll see what we can do about it.
