Agree all day long. The environment is much more relaxed than most communities, and you don't have to be worried about getting abuse.

I agree that the level of civility on this server is refreshing. It's so easy for someone to hide behind the anonymity of an avatar and spit venom at anyone who does the smallest thing out of line. Maybe I haven't had enough experience in the SMP community, but ECC seems like a rare place where all are respected. As far as the "baby sitting" goes, I think the way things are handled is appropriate for the age range that we have here. As an adult myself (defined as older than 18, younger than 75) I'd rather be in this environment than one with no rules. It just gets exhausting.

OhMrsKittyKat If you were really mature, you would realize that if your going to play an ONLINE game without AGE RESTRICTIONS, suck it up and move on, you're not changing anything. Maybe you could set an example for these, "squeakers," and be a leader, not one who complains of their very presence in the community. Just know that if you do this, you are no better than them, in fact, quite the contrary...

OhMrsKittyKat and chocolatecheese1, both of you please stop provoking one another by talking down on your avatars... It is unnecessary and off topic. I enjoy this server for it's wide age range, it's better to be surrounded by people of all ages imo... Helps to keep ECC interesting and it allows us to interact with people of all kinds. Truth be told, I'm not really bothered by these so called *squeakers* lol. I like people based on their maturity level and how they communicate to me. Not to mention, I myself sound really young. You have no idea how many times people have mistaken me for either a little boy or a little girl (whether on Xbox Live or Teamspeak, etc). It's really quite funny actually.
