Minecraft Username: TheMansheep Brief Description: It has been an issue for quite some time where extcreations bridges and doors will often not work. Today, I was trying to make a door out of prismarine slabs and no matter how I tried to make it work it did not. "This material is not usable for a door" was a repeating trend in my chatbox. I tried using prismarine brick slabs but with the exact same effect. Instructions: Place a sign at the bottom of the door as instructed on the extcrea wiki. Place a sign at the top of the door as instructed on the extcrea wiki. I have both tried to build the entire door, and stock the sign, replacing the signs each time I was hit with a "Material not usable" prompt. How many times did you recreate this?: I have tried many times, with both materials mentioned (but I have had this issue with stone bricks and other materials as well) to no avail. Result: 2 useless signs in the correct place. Expected Result: A functional prismarine slab door. Evidence: NA
This hasn't been an issue, at least post-craftbook config changes. Can confirm that both doors and bridges are working properly. User error was likely the case here when I looked into this situation yesterday. @andrewkm
I just had to swap out cobblestone I had in place since I built my town to get the bridges to work, so cobble not working on bridges now. May be a naming convention change on the blocks with the update. Just a thought.
Cobblestone isn’t an allowed block in bridges, that’s why it isn’t working. Only the slab form is allowed. On that note I have updated the allowed materials list for both bridges and doors with the 1.14 blocks, can be viewed here: ExtCreations Wiki Page
