    Here is a chart of the experience levels and the experience amounts.
    You can check how much exp you have with the command "/exp"

    btw i accidentally wrote 2013, when it is actually 2014 --- drat

    I believe when 1.8 comes out there are going to be changes to the experience system... I don't know if I should need to alter this chart at all....

    my tests show that in 1.8 30 levels is 1291, don't know about the algorithm, though.

    The EXP to gain each level is 7+(2*level-1).

    EDIT: e.g: Level 1 takes 7 exp, 2 is 16, 3 is 27 etc.
