I just bought perms from eek like 2 weeks ago ... @eekelmo And you know it wasn't me who did the grief so how about not evicting me?
If there's tons of griefing just remove the people or make it so only resident+ can farm. A town-wide eviction seems unnecessary. You're removing people for doing something they didn't do, just because you're tired of fixing griefing. Then be tougher on it, stop adding random people that just have the money or raise the price. It's obviously too cheap or too many builders get perms if there are enough people to grief so that you're "tired" of it, because generally builders/cheap prices are a potent mixture in griefing.
It's also to remove inactive players. I will be adding back a few players after the grief is fixed (a day or two)
I understand your frustration, however, this seems to be one of the worst evictions ever seen on ECC. When was the last time you filed a grief report? $15k is a lot of money to pay for perms just to have them taken away. Perhaps you could ask some of these players to help out instead - I am pretty sure they would help.
I don't appreciate my perms being taken away as time I've gone out of my way to fix griefs in the farm that I didn't even cause. The rights to this town weren't free we paid for the right to be there and I bet majority of the players your evicting didn't do anything It's not like the people taking up plots or something, so why should I matter whether they're inactive.
Afterwards, then, you should make a new thread tagging everyone being evicted. You should also mail everyone ingame. If they don't reply in say, two weeks, evict them. It's probably the best way to discover who is active/inactive.
Are you still looking to have the excvation job finished? And, perhaps in addition to that, would a farm minder be of interest to you so you don't have to handle the griefs? That way everyone could keep their perms. I have Investigator and could report repeat offenders to you for individual eviction.
Where someone, like myself, is the one to inspect, and fix, farm damages. I have suddenly found myself with more free time during the day, and it seems a better option than kicking everyone out.
I liked to say i have not played on this server til yesterday and do not recall damaging anything since i was inactive for a great deal of time. I would love further information about my grief and proof please and if evidence is adequate i will be more than happy to comply
