I am interested in keeping my space if possible. It will be great to see it get active again.

 

I've cleared out my stuff. It's a beautiful build and doesn't need remodeling. What it does need is promoting. Malls don't work without advertising.

 

ps please don't take my perms away as I have a large plot in Lancaster!

 

It seemed to start fairly well and sales were decent but I do think that only you and I had actual shops there. The interesting thing is that I still get sales off and on still to this day.
I am really not great at advertising myself but do know that this mall can succeed with the right management. I feel better seeing jm back and active again which is why I hope to be able to stay there.
As soon as I get an answer if I can stay and know that it is going to be active again, I fully intend to fill my shop with more signs!

 

Jm is a builder not a town manager. Lancaster needs people to manage and promote it.

 

I totally agree, however, with him being active again, hopefully, so will the Lancaster Mall. The mall success is directly related to when jm has been active on the server, even if not managing the town directly.

 

I had a great spot but sales were not good enough to pay rent from. I accept I neglected the space but it clearly wasn't doing well enough to spend the time on.

 

@Samanthurr , @jmichael214 - I still have not received an answer about staying. Since there was no date listed when we had to remove our lwc's, I am not sure when they have to be gone. I do not wish to overstay my welcome.

I understand the mall is not a priority currently and have no problem with that. I would like to offer that when you are ready to get it active again that I am willing to pay the first months rent for the first 20 players that apply for a shop and that you accept (assuming the current 1k/month rate). This is my way of giving back (a small amount) to jm for all the good he has provided our community.

 

I appreciate the gesture, and as @Samanthurr is the one who is running things, I would suggest that it's better that this be paid to her. To help her with her current work is all the thanks I need. I'm happily puttering away at another town I bought, and not in need of funds. :) My biggest contribution to the Lancaster Renaissance Project (aside from that name I just made up) is the same thing I've contributed for awhile now -- absolutely stable official ownership. No one can afford to buy it for what it's worth, so everyone who wants to can chip in without worrying that the town will be sold out from under them. I think Lancaster and I are together for as long as ECC exists, even if I don't much like running it.

 

I have removed my locks and cleared my shop. I wish you the best of success in whatever you choose to do with the town.
