I am not quite sure, as I downloaded a modpack a while ago. But I think (75%) its : ArmorStatusHUD

 

I had two ores right next to each other once. Not diagonally, right next to each other.

a screenshot or vid doesn't prove anything really. you could just place the ores yourself.

I've had 3 next to each other but I thought it was normal!

 

Thats actually impossible as emerald ore spawns in game in extreme hills/edge, and will only spawn with 1 ore per vain

 

It's not impossible if it happened. I think they were in two different chunks right next to each other.

 

I've had 2 diagonally from eachother, and I'll be posting a screenshot of them tomrrow. It has logblock, so it shows that I didn't place it, though I guess if it were more than a week old I could've. If you feel like a conspiracy theorist you could doubt me, but believe me when I say I found it like that :)
