Adding in a real-life style parliament and judicial system to a setting like ECC is making a comparison similar to apples and oranges. It just doesn't work, as each has their own features and differences that require various methods to achieve.
The staff and judicial system that ECC has in place is comprehensible, manageable, and streamlined. This would merely complicate these processes.

I don't like this idea at all. I think the way phys, andrew, and the staff run the server is fine. If we elected staff the server would completely go down. *deploying flares ecc is going down* nope cuz this isn't happening lol no flares on ecc. ;)
Edit: also if we elected staff popular people who shouldn't get staff will get staff-

Everybody knows that Andrewkm still is the owner of the server and he still has all powers. Physicistsmom doesnt have so much skills like Andrew and Andrew often has to help her. Andrew just had to take a break and keep low profile for a while.
But for me it looks like a dictatorship. For example, what if the owner gets bored and deletes the server?
Im not talking about Andrewkm or Physicistsmom but if we get a new owner and when we understand that shit is about to get real then we can save ECC.
The population has to have a way to take control of the Server when its an Emergency situation to save the server.-

This is a perfect example of why "freedom of speech" does not work on this server outside of rules. I also disagree with everything you are even trying to say here - and long live the "dictatorship" of ECC - it has served us all very well!

First of all: if Andrewkm quits ECC, Phys will get ownership. If a random new owner does come (extremely unlikely), we can just protest against them and put a good person in charge (ex. Mission001). Btw, who would just end a server without legal issues?
