I would go with a PS4.
It's graphics are slightly better than the Xbox1's (many of the biggest game developers agree) and it has more exclusive games (ex. The last of us, one of the best selling games of all time)

 

If it was me, as long as I had one or the other, I would be thankful :)

Traditions: We... don't really have any. We have a Christmas tree and all that, but not a whole lot else...

Well I do have a PS4 and I'm happy with that. I'm just saying I would ask for a PS4 instead of an Xbox one.
