The rewards for SG that I have seen are rarely over $2000. No player would pay that much to possibly lose it (unless they aren't very smart). The SG system is fine and fair as-is.
@PhantomJedi759 exactly that's the point I'm making thanks for pointing it out. It's more of an emergency kit if your severely out numbered 24/24 or the whole arena is filled with kitters. It's just an option to you it doesn't mean you need to use it every time it's the users choice. They are expensive for a reason because it would be unfair to kitters if these kits are easily accessible not to mention these kits will give a boost too non-kitters over other non-kitters 1- emergency kit 2-good tester to see if you want a real free and more powerful kit 3- a little more fairness in games without being unfair to donors it's a win, win, win the only legitimate reason for this not to be at least considered is coding, too much work, or just not wanting to change SG balance. Other then those things I still feel this is a do-able suggestion? But feel free to post if u see flaws I'll be happy try and work on the logic and pros of this suggestion and try to work around the cons (if I can X) ) Thanks you all for your responses.
-1 This is a bad idea unless the kits cost like 10k per use.. I would not like to see this implemented.
no matter what, its forever -999999999999999999999999 Then i wont buy kits with real money if u can even buy them with eco dollars be it permanant or temporary. EDIT: if you are going to make the in game kits so expensive with eco dollars , then might as well buy real money kits, its also expensive and good.
@AtomBlizzard as previously stated before in the above comments. Players who would just use these kits would just blow their money on these kits. I don't know how good you are at SG however i highly doubt you will win every single game with a down graded kit to make enough to call it profit is purely wishful thinking and is so unlikely that makes your speculation invalid. As stated before the speculation that this will affect donations is completely untrue. Again doner kits- way more powerful and are free every single time payed kits- a lot less powerful then good paying doner kits and has to he payed for every single time. As for the price I suggested 2k but I know what's a little low but nothing higher then 10k because there is no use in using the kit if your going to lose money 100% of the time. A 24/24 game mostly yields 5000+ish profits. So I suggest something a little high then that to make the player work to earn the money back. -Again donations won't be affected I've explained that 3 times. But if u do see another reason it could affect donations feel free to comment. "I won't buy kits" has been answered. Thank you, for your responses
Actually, sure you would. If you purchase the kit with real money then makes it free to use which then will enable you to gain better profit from the SG games. However spending let's say $2,000 ECD on a kit, you will have to win the game to make next to no profit. If you lose then you're out $2,000. This is a great money sync and I think it should be implemented.
Still a -1 I don't want anything except for donator kits. If you guys want, then purchase it with real money instead of giving ideas/suggestions to implement eco dollar kits
This is the reason I suggested this. I would like to see a more diverse SG not a more diverse community. Saying you like it because you don't want it not because it won't help, but just personal preference. One of the main reasons I suggested this was because the arguments between kitters and non-kitters your showing me an example of this by being so blunt and disregarding all suggestions on kits. I just hope this can help provide a bridge so it's not just kits vs non-kits and at the same time being fair to both donors and non-donors without being unfair to paying players. Know what I mean? This will not hurt the server or economy.
I understand what you mean. However do u know that hosting a server like ECC costs thousands a month including hardwork and time. Andrew needs this money to keep the server going with the donations received. If players really want kits and are against kitters, they should buy kits themselves from players or real money.
Plz refer to the above comments on the affect this would have on the server. I tried to address that problem before. Thank you for your understanding ^~^
I have all the kits I need. Seeing as you are new to ECC (Less then 1 month), I will just explain to you that ECC needs sources of money syncs so that the economy doesn't overflow. SG already puts TONS of money into the economy. This will take some of that money out, and also will let people see how great kits are, which will end up leading to more donations. Sometimes taking money out of the economy is more important then donations themselves.
Firstly I have been a player since december 2012 , this is just my new account. Edit: Im confused but i see your point.
For starters, there's no reason to lie and act like you've been here, you're new, there's nothing wrong with that, but don't try to state that you've been playing here, you stated in another post that you're new here, hard working, and donate. Now back onto track. Lowering the price of kits will turn an outrage among the players who already purchased the kits, and an outrage to the anti kit people. We don't need more kitters into the game, that's not the suggestion. However this would be a nice money sync because if 2 people purchase kits for eco dollars, it basically evens out the money distributed out from the winnings of the game.
Not really lying , my first account was mazuka1999 which got banned because ECC was my first server and i never knew what grief was. Then i got onto a second account _ObsidianMonkey_ and donated $60 there for /fly Also i still dont like this idea. As you said "Outrage among kitters". And if you are going to make kits available in ECC dollars, im going to be outraged
I don't need your back story, all I know is that you said you were new to ECC and got far because you make 50k per day. So that is what I am going to go off of.
I'm getting the feeling that people don't understand the fact that EcoDollar kits would only allow for the weakest of items, which when used against someone with a Donation kit wouldn't make any difference. If someone wants a more powerful kit, they will drop the money to donate to the server. Also, if the price is $2000 it would make people think twice before using it every game. With that expense, it would be very difficult to make any money. Let's be honest, the majority of the kit donations have been done so with the intention of getting easier kills for more money. The rest of the people may just simply want to help the server out and have just donated for the sake of donating. These two types of people here wouldn't be effected by the implementation of EcoDollar kits.
