I see what you mean, but the NHL players don't have someone telling them the time while they're on the ice. They need to be aware of the time remaining on the clock. I would honestly be willing to hire a person to do just this, have like 5 minute updates, like 20 mins left, 15 mins left, etc. Until it's down to last 10 seconds, someone counts down in local. And once it hits 0, they can set off a few fireworks or something.
