Its actually pretty easy to find out how to make that money (Yes I do know how) many of the users like myself who joined near the end of 2011 know how. I will tell you just go get that working, you need a lot of starting money.
Can you sustain that rate, hour after hour, non stop? is the money generated from /sell or from user to user deals?
There is another way though I had actually talked to some of our very old users and what I thought was right
I don't think there's much of a point in asking, or bribery. But I doubt that if it was so simple that it would still be a secret. Like I said earlier, your best bet is to waste all your time fiddling with it, or hope that someone who knows about it will consider you smart enough and trustworthy enough to keep it a secret.
ok, from clues in the past and in this thread. and from actually stopping to investigate instead of being lazy,I know what they're talking about now. as for the 40-50k/hour claims, idk. I haven't done any testing yet. I've talked about this in global on at least two occasions, also. but only as a mystery/theory.
buy a 20x20 plot that costs 2k, wait for the price of the 20x20 plot to rise to 5k, then, when a new player wants to buy a cheap 20x20 plot, sell yours for 4k. Earning 2k.
where did you get the method? If the secret to earning 50k an hour is renting and buying melon swords and earning the money back, then that would be as cheating as buying an expensive magical box and putting $100 in it and out comes $200.
I think that no one of these people would have the same method of earning money. If they did then it is likely that others would catch onto it. I am even uncertain that such a way of earning 50k/hour exists. And using a simple chain of reason it is likely that they are exaggerating or not telling the whole truth, just my view.
if the reason why everyone on this server is not rich is that the rich people are keeping a secret, it would not be an impressive economy to me. I want to know why i am wrong if someone thinks i am wrong.
maybe a combination of melon swords and lottery? and maybe something that is able to happen in ecocitycraft but not real life economy? which would be cheating .
Renting melon swords has a lot of risk. You have to rent it many times to get your money back and it could get broken or stolen during this time. I bet it takes more time than you would think to find renters.
Kuke told me something once, no one in the top 10 gets there through lotto. He was right, though I didn't believe him at the time. What do they have in common? Very little. They all earn there money in different ways. But they all did start out mining/farming there way to richness. The secret, if there is any secret, is to save your money.
Can we get one more hint from the people who do know? How much starting money is needed? 250k? 500k? 1mil? 2mil?
If it took 250k to set up, and it adds roughly 20k per hourto your earning power, that's 12.5 hours of using the method just to get back to even. At 500k, it would take 25 hours to get back to even. Yuck.
