What have you done to make ECC a better place?:
Well, as a staff member I am constantly helping builders who have just joined, showing them the ropes and assisting them if they need it. I also am able to help the more experienced users with any questions which they may have. I am also able to make a ecc a better place by stamping out rule breakers and those who want to upset other users, and I think this helps a lot. Before I got staff I gave plots out to builders and tried to help players as well.

Why do you play ECC?:
I play ECC because I enjoy being able to make a difference. I also play for the enjoyment. I really love going mining and farming and watching my hard work being turned into ECD! It is the only server I play on and I wouldn't change that.

Favorite color?:
I'd have to say light blue

Do you plan to get donation features or the ECD?:
Both would help me immensely, but given the choice I would probably choose Donation features

If ECD, what do you plan to do with the money?:
If I won the money, I would put it all towards my debt I have to pay off

If features, what features do you plan to get?:
I would really like Pyro+ or, If I was to win the $50, I would buy ExtCommands

What have you done to make ECC a better place?: I have only been on ECC for a short period of time, but i believe i can make ecc a better place in the future by helping other users and suggesting new ideas towards the server

Why do you play ECC?: I play ECC because it is a great hobby of mine, i also play it to make new friends and play with different people.

If features, what features do you plan to get?: I would like Kit Spy + and Kit CC. I like playing survival games so i believe with these kits i can increase my skills .

I believe that a parkour competition would be the most fair thing to do, If a minerun was done for example there would be people complaining about others having a better pickaxe than them ETC. So if it was parkour theres so advantages or disadvantages to anyone.

What have you done to make ECC a better place?: I constantly offer people my donation features for free, like extcreations, tps, water etc. Before I also gave out plots, and will start doing so when my town is done.

Why do you play ECC?: My main reason for playing on ECC is because I love the building and economy of the server. I know that I can build a nice looking town, and then allowing others to appreciate what I have built. And that I can set goals, like first star tool or get that feature.

Favorite Color?: Cyan/light blue.

If ECD, what do you plan to do with the money?: I plan on buying the donations I find most useful, then I will work on to get my town done and evantually buy star tools.

If features, what features do you plan to get?: Right now I'm saving up for ExtCommands and plus.

If there was another competition for a donation feature, what would you want the competition to be? Try to make it as fair as possible for everyone. If I were to choose a competition I'd want it to be a building competition, lasting over a few weeks or so.

What have you done to make ECC a better place?: I started putting together a "Builder Box" to sell for only 1 nstar at my spawnshop (47). It contains enchanted tools, food, building materials, and crafting supplies that exceed the value of a nstar to help get new players started and encourage them to continue playing on ECC. I also help to give free plots to builders on behalf of PandaNation and my own town (Risen_Valley) and currently I am undertaking a project in my own town to renovate the area and build large communal homes that can offer a cheaper housing/storage option and access to town benefits. You can see some of the progress on the Risen_Valley Town Thread.

Why do you play ECC?: I play ECC because I love the environment and opportunity to collaborate and advance in the economy. There is always new events or competitions happening that I feel bring the community together. Most of the people I have gotten the chance to communicate were really helpful and willing to spend a few minutes to just chat and introduce themselves. Every encounter I've had with the staff members has been helpful and positive and I really do appreciate their assistance.

If ECD, what do you plan to do with the money?: I would save it to purchase a more expensive donation feature later like ExtCommands.

I think it might be fun to do a free build competition (with a very small or no entry fee) or even do a competition where people are entered into a raffle when they are "caught being good" but no one actually knows the competition is going on.

What have you done to make ECC a better place?: As a staff member, I help out people getting started, answering questions. I also offer some of my donations (such as erep and smelts) for free. Beyond my job as a staff member, I try to be as involved in the community as much as possible, whether it be looking though the suggestions or just having a friendly banter with someone in global.

Why do you play ECC?: There are several reasons. I mainly play because I've always loved the economy aspect of the server. I also love to build (though I'm still learning my unique style) and I want to build a nation of interconnected cities with multiple layers. I also ( of course ) love helping out people while I play. I enjoy it.

Personally I like the idea of a 'Good Samaritan Contest' where people are put into some sort of raffle when they are caught doing good things for users. In order to make this as fair as possible, no one should know the contest is going on. Also (so maybe moderators can participate) you should include not just answering questions but people going beyond that and doing something they aren't required to do.

 

@ImaginexMakers This is irrelevant but i was reading your suggestion for future competition and I work with tm_ibeast and was planning on doing some kind of giveaway. I like your suggestion but how will we see these acts of kindness? For example, many players help others silently

 

I would have to agree either this, since many including myself will help others even further silently. Otherwise, I'd agree. It would be hard to evaluate this. (Sorry I just wanted to say something :3)

I Have Given Players A Chance to Live in a Town and Get Materials and Supplies for Me Such As Food, Wood, Tools, And Other Things. I Also Help Build Houses For the Members Of My Town. It Gives them a Chance to Live in A Town With Protected Areas So They Don't End Up Getting Their House Teared Down. I Also Help People out as to Telling them How Much Ranks Are and Showing them around The Server. I Have Also Built New Structures To Help People Out as They Need Them.

I Play On Ecocity To Make New Friends and Because Ecocity Is One Of the Only Servers Who Keeps Houses And Buildings Up Instead Of Wiping Out The Builds.

What have you done to make ECC a better place?:
well when I had my mayor and president town I used to giveaway free plots and perms to new comers to help them get started. I often do many free repairs and teleports just a nice service to do for the community. Back when I was rich I used to host a few giveaways to give back to the community. Whenever there is a question in chat I always do the best to my ability to answer them and if they need help I will do it for them, to help spread the Ecc love.

Why do you play ECC?:
honestly, the only thing that keeps me on Ecc to this day is the community. I never play any other minecraft servers or single player, just because I feel like it is getting boring. But the community and people that is Ecc always keeps me playing, I love how everybody likes to help each other, the community is what keeps me playing, I don't think there is any better minecraft server community than Ecc.

If there was another competition for a donation feature, what would you want the competition to be? Try to make it as fair as possible for everyone. Well, to begin I'd like there to be no advantage based on how rich you are or how many people you know. I'd like it to be easy to enter in and for everyone to be able to enter. Maybe, the competition could be a building competition, where all builders are given a set number and type of blocks, and whoever can get the most creative with said blocks wins the competition. If i personally had the irl money to give out, then the prize would likely be 100 usd in features, or the equivalent in ECD if they so choose.

What have you done to make ECC a better place?: I honestly can't say I sit around spawn all day to help new players however I am always there to help new players and others if they need it! I happily do free donation services for other users if they ask even though I don't advertise it much. I also co-mayor many towns and nations including Foix, Sweetsville and more! Being a co-mayor to these towns gives me many opportunities that i grasp with both hands to assist new players in getting started. I doubt I can list all the minor things for example making a parkour at the ECC Parkour for the enjoyment of the community but I will add that I happily answer as many questions in chat if I know them and trying to be polite to everyone I meet!

Why do you play ECC?: I personally play it because of the community and all the great friends I have made! If ECC didn't have such a great community I'm honestly not sure if I would be playing it right now.

Favorite color?: Forest green and Sunset orange.

Do you plan to get donation features or the ECD?: I honestly don't mind which one I get however I think I would prefer the ECD.

If ECD, what do you plan to do with the money?: I would like half the money to go to my great friend @SimsElemental who is currently struggling with a large debt after she broke a star tool. The other half would go to my town project, if you would like to see it so far i don't mind showing you in game! The purpose of this town will be to support new players of the community and for people to make new friends! I plan for this town to host many tournaments (Such as PVP, Spleef and a maze!) as well as scavenger hunts and giveaways!

What have you done to make ECC a better place?:
I have done many services to the community in order to make it a better place, as ECC is where I learned to expand my vocabulary and social skills, interact with people around the world, learn administrative procedures and a work experience, as well as making friends! I have been a Moderator of the server for two months, gave numerous users funds for resident to take advantage of a boost of perks, bought people features so they could enjoy the server more and give back to the community, created a builder program in my town (1 nStar for a plot to boost server votes), have been at spawn answering questions of new users and given advice, gave money to users for town features when they could not afford portals and such so that they could show their great towns to the rest of the server, and just played with practically nobodies on the server so I could get to know them, be their friend and mentor, and have fun on a common interest we call EcoCityCraft. I am currently building a huge palace in which MCMMO training facilities will be accessed for free, special events within the town (giveaways, scavenger hunts, etc.) and living spaces free of charge. This is what I have done, 2013-2015.
Why do you play ECC?:
As mentioned before, I play ECC to hang out with close friends and new ones as well, learn international culture through international friends, meet people and talk to fellow Minecraft players, impact the server community, and have fun! I believe people can really learn from others on this wonderful server, and I intend to talk about/give advice/share my knowledge with everyone who wants. This is not made up, but the truth. I have won a few state/national qualifier level competitions with advice from staff and friends whether they know it or not
