It would be nice to have a competition for a donation feature by something like a UHC Tournament kind of thing would be cool, it would not have

any kits or anything that would be unfair to everyone, except for a kit that everyone is given at the begining of the game that is like 10 pieces of

food or something, now I know considering not everyone is good at pvp, but considering most people arent the best at building, and this has no

unfair advantages and tbh is alot funner than sg cause u have to mine for stuff and u dont regain health from having a full hunger, only gapples

and health pots, although it would have to be hosted by phys or someone , (SOZ im pretty much obsessed with UHC xD)​

I always try to talk to builders and any other user in need of help, even if I don't have the best resources or knowledge, and offer the minimal services I have and a friendly person to talk to

Why do you play ECC?:
I play ECC because I enjoy the whole idea of having to work for your money and your friends, and having to build your way up the economy to make more money and buy more things. I love how it seems to be a little adventure, a virtual reality of life itself. I also, of course, play ECC for the amazing community and the values in which most users withhold. I have made some amazing friends, and the moderating system is great
I love the overall experience of playing MC in a play where people are friendly and you're still working hard and having fun at the same time

Hmm, slightly tough, but I think ECD

Well, when I was trying to make more money, I decided to rent a star rod, because I eventually wanted to buy more features with ECD and find other ways to help users. I happened to get carried away and the star rod broke... I now have to pay of the debt and am desperately running out of time to make the money up as I have less and less time to make the money in game. I would hope put this money towards my debt, and if there were anything left over, maybe towards features or my next rank, or helping a friend with there town

Well, because I am a complete nerd and book fanatic, my bookworm side (the majority of me) would love their to be a reading contest, where you would try and read (actually legitimately read) as many books as you could in a certain amount of time. Alternatively to that, a writing competition would be awesome! I also enjoy writing stories and reviews of books and other things, so personally this would work well for me

How much have you donated to the server: I personally have not donated to the server. The donations I have were bought as gifts from other users.

What have you done to make ECC a better place?: I don't have a massive impact on the community, but I feel that I do little things that make the server a better place. I've taken plenty of builders and residents under my wing so that they can grow up into mayors and run their own towns and such. Unfortunately, not all of them turn out as I hope, but I try to make the community a better place by providing these new players the skills and knowledge that goes into becoming successful on this server. I know I have had a few hiccups here and there during my time on the server, but I think that I've come a long way in helping the community during my time on this server. I also feel that I contribute to a lot of the ideas and suggestions made by other users on the server seeing that I'm a long time player here. Although I don't have a significant impact on the community, I like to think that the little things I do make it a better place.

Why do you play ECC?: Because I see this server as my home. No matter what server I play on and who I meet, I always come back to ECC. The community and the friendliness of many players towards me is what has attracted me to this server year after year. Also the economical aspect is something I thoroughly enjoy

If ECD, what do you plan to do with the money?: I think that I would look into buying the town claim for my main town Appaloosa. Appaloosa was the town where I started out as a builder, and I have invested the most time and money into it. If I can get the claim and become the new owner, I could add numerous new features that would make the town even cooler!

I think that something like the labyrinths that Nico used to do would be pretty fair, only if there were no teams allowed. A maze would test a player's endurance and patience, but it may also allow the luckiest player to win which wouldn't be fair. I'm not sure of any really fair competitions that can be done on ECC nowadays. There will always be pros and cons to different events, and there will always be that one person complaining ._.

What have you done to make ECC a better place?: I have always tried to help with anything a user needs. I have given several builders starting diamond tools, given money to them to get them to resident, and just doing random giveaways in general. I love to help, and I always will keep helping Also, along with my donation features, I use them to help others out. Normally, builders/residents get them for free, and I don't ask for any money when I do my services. Anything or nothing works, so everyone is happy!

Why do you play ECC?: I play ECC to talk with friends and even ones that aren't my friends yet. I also love to help others with whatever they need, which is why I wanted to become a moderator in the first place. There may be more goals on ECC that I wish to accomplish, but right now I don't have a specific one that I want to accomplish other than helping others as much as I can

If ECD, what do you plan to do with the money?: I wish to get the ECD instead of donation features so I can do several different things with it. I might use some of the money to buy myself tp+/++ so I can teleport players to coordinates when they need to, which would cost me about 240k/300k of what I would get if I got the grand prize . I would use more of the money to help pay off my loan, and the rest to do some giveaways in game

If features, what features do you plan to get?: I could also get the features, in which I would get myself either: Excommands++, tp+/++, maybe a ctag and something else, or kit spy/+/++ to help earn more money for more giveaways

I would suggest doing some sort of spleef contest, or just a random in game giveaway you just have to be online to win (Like andrew did in the winter)

I help our users who ask questions in global, as I'm sure most do. I give out free diamond tool sets when users need them. I give away $ in trivia a fair amount, about 100k in total, as well as just random giveaways when I have $ leftover from something. I sell plots for $400 in a town that gives you free ereps, tp's farm perms, and other amenities to assist every member we get
Why do you play ECC?:
I joined ecc a few months in into downloading minecraft. I logged in and was instantly assisted by many users helping me. I played for about a week and had achieved enough for resident as well as had already have a few max tools. I gained resident. As a resident I bought foix, as I'm sure most of you know it is a town in legacy run by me and appleprocucling. 2 years ago it was a 200x200 town with a few buildings, because of the community and everything this server has to offer, I was able to with Apple, make Foix into 1 of the more popular towns on Ecc because of what ecc had to offer, I spent about $100 of my own $, the rest coming from in game $. Because of what ecc had to offer I spent all this time playing 1 server, something before I joined ecc, couldn't imagine spending per than an hour a day on any server. Because of what ecc has to offer, I'm still here today, and hope to be here for the offer able future, as well as hope the rest of this community is.

Do you plan to get donation features or the ECD?: I think I would probably go with ecd, as I got everything I need now with smelt to offer for foix, and enough to assiaist me myself, as well as others.
If ECD, what do you plan to do with the money?: I will give some away in trivia as I find that very fun and the community seems to enjoy it. I will put some into foix hopefully. I will also put some into a big project of mine, my vault. It's safe to say I've spent 50+ hours clearing and building it, and it's safe to say a project that big that with 50+ hours of hard work that's still not done costs a lot. It does and has. I have put roughly 700-800k ecd into hiring a designer, buying Quartz, etc. none of the above amount includes labor. I would love to put more work into it. Any leftover $ I had after foix/giveaways hopefully would be put into this. I have shown many users and have gotten a very positive feedback, and I can't wait to show them and everyone wose once it's finishesd, these funds would help amensly.

If features, what features do you plan to get?:
I plan on getting the ecd if I win, but probably I'd get ext commands++ "again". I lost the feature due to the whole willclo thing. Luckily because of this amazing community, @jmichael and the red tp'd his amazing community was able to raise enough $ to pay back everyone in full in an incredibly short period of time. Sadly, nearly all this $ went into foix to improve living conditions and perks for our residents, so I never did rebuy it sadly.
If there was another competition for a donation feature, what would you want the competition to be? Try to make it as fair as possible for everyone. I think a scavanger hunt would be a terrific idea, although people might use cheat Finder for an "edge". If there's a way ty could design one without chests some how, then 100% scavenger hunt.

A lot of people can say that they've donated to builders and gave towns to them but sadly I can't, I'm barely out of resident and I've been poor this entire time... But, I've tried to be a fair and nice player. And I hope in the end that helps ECC and it's community.

Why do up you play ECC:

ECC is honestly the best minecraft server I've ever seen. It's community is great and filled with amazing people, the economy is filled with twist and turns just like real life (It's absolutely amazing), and the way it's so inclusive with how you can suggest things to make ECC a better place and how you can make friends and play with them is mind blowing. What better way to spend your time then play this amazing game?

Competition 1 : Builders to Resident. You need to link the applications of builders you supplied either the $ to become resident or the ability to earn their way to resident. Have it be a big deal about getting people into better positions on the server, moving up in the world and getting them more familiar with the forrums. In the applications of the builders it would show where the money came from

Competition 2 : Monster Trap builders. You need to screen capture monster traps that you build, how much you sell them for, and the image of the person posing next to it that you sold it to. This would have the advantage of putting more experience into the economy and make it fun to build and sell monster traps around mining world. Points would be awarded for creativity in design, quantity of traps, values you successfully sold them for, and of course you have to have a variety of buyers. Promotes community participation.

Competition 3 : Station Selfies! Link to a thread you make for yourself in competitions forum. Publish a screen capture for every station in the marketplace. Bonus points awarded for getting your picture taken with the owner of the store. Bonus points awarded if you also include a list of 10 items being sold at the store. bonus points if you right a review like a restraunt critic. Make shopping interesting and fun with this new twist that anyone could participate in.

Competition 4:Server dirt removal specialist! Selling dirt from your inventory to the server, screen captured. Winner is the person that accounts for the most dirt sold from the server in a given period of time. The screen capture will show how many units are sold each cycle from your inventory. Participants will need to post their screen captures, and accurately tally where their standings are.

For me, it's helping members, specially builders. It's very overwhelming to start out on ECC and I like to give builders a free place to stay. I will give out free items like armor, weapons, food, etc too if I can spare it. I help people rank up, help people get animals to their towns, help members plot out their town when they rank to mayor, help member's build things, etc. I just help, that's all it takes really.

I would say a parkour course (supervised so nobody with fly can cheat), or some trivia questions, or some sort of mini-games that are very common.

How much have you donated to the server: None out of pocket. All my donations have come from ECD, which is around the neighborhood of $1275.

What have you done to make ECC a better place?: I've always tried my best to be an informative and helpful user. I keep a positive attitude, and answer peoples' questions in global promptly if the need it. I try to provide new users with free services if they need them, and I'm always there for older users if they have needs as well. I also spend quite a bit time on the ECC Wiki and forums giving advice, contributing to change, and promoting civil and fun gameplay.

Why do you play ECC?: I play to have fun with my friends and enjoy what the best economy around has to offer. Variety is huge; there is always a new way to make money, why not discover it and use it?

Favorite color?: Royal Purple or Gold.

Do you plan to get donation features or the ECD?: I would choose the ECD, as I already have features out of my ears.

If ECD, what do you plan to do with the money?: As some people know, I am in debt to a couple of users. It's not a huge amount, but with my ever-decreasing playtime, the goal to pay it off seems more and more insurmountable. With the 300k, I would pay those users off, and save part of it. But what does this have to do with helping the greater community? It's just a debt, you got into it, pay it off! Yes, I understand concerns like these. Receiving this 300k would set me up to put my money towards other users, and grow the community. After my debts are paid, my main goals are complete, and I plan to help Residents to Mayor, Builders to Resident, and help provide tools to those who need them. Being "above water" so-to-speak would allow me to do that by redirecting my playtime from paying debt to helping others. This has been my goal ever since I left staff: be helpful without bounds.

If features, what features do you plan to get?: If I was pushed to, I would select ExtCommandsPlus2. However, as mentioned above, I do not need another feature

I'm pretty sure you did it about the fairest way possible with an application. Trivia is a fun idea too, where first to answer 5 questions correctly wins or something like that. What have you done to make ECC a better place?: I try to help out as much as I can in game, in many different ways to improve other players experiences on ECC. Some examples of ways I have helped out on ECC are: if ever a user asks a question to me directly or in chat, I will try to answer the player and help them out, I am also currently building my town that I got as mayor, and once it is fully complete, I will be giving builders free 10x10 plots (as I remember when I was a builder getting your first 1/2k for a plot took so long! xD) Also when a builder gets their free plot, they will receive a care package, which will contain something like: A full diamond tool set, plenty of food and some other simple resources to help them start out!

Why do you play ECC?: Just for the fun really! I enjoy meeting new people around the server and love ECC's community! I found ECC when I was looking for a server to try out, and when I joined, everyone was so welcoming and willing to help out new players; ECC was actually one of the first Minecraft servers I ever joined, and has always been my all time favourite server to play on!

Do you plan to get donation features or the ECD?: I think I would pick the ECD, as I am saving to get president now, and am looking to get tycoon sometime in the near future too! However, I think it would be a tough decision as I wont have any real money to spend on the server for quite a while, and I have been debating about getting some features for some time now, so I couldn't be certain about what I would choose out of the two.

If ECD, what do you plan to do with the money?: Well, I am hoping soon to add the town you get with president next to my current town, in order to turn it onto a 200x200 farm that is free to use by all people in the current town! If I didn't want to get president with the money, I would probably invest it into making my current town a better place; by adding a pvp arena and buying a portal and any spare money, I would put towards president, another idea of what I could do with the town if I got president with the money, is make a pvp training town, for town members of my current town to practice in, and I would need quite a few pvp arenas for that, which would cost quite a substantial amount so any money I won would help with that.

If features, what features do you plan to get?: If I was to choose to get the features, I would probably get; a custom tag and teleport as I think that teleport will really help me in game, as well as allow me to help other players. And with the Custom Tag, I have just really wanted one for a while now, and think that now would be the perfect time to get one!

If there was another competition for a donation feature, what would you want the competition to be? Try to make it as fair as possible for everyone.
I would love to see a building competition (one month long maybe), however building competitions can be in favour of the more experienced and richer players, due to expenses of the materials it takes to build amazing structures and a plot that would be big enough to create an amazing build on would have to be a decent size, which yet again some players would not have access to the money needed to buy a plot the size that they would like.
Another idea could be something more simple such as a trivia with different category rounds. I think this option gives all players an equal chance as the categories don't have to be to do with ECC, meaning it's open for anyone to win.
Also, you could do a tournament of some kind, whether that is a spleef tournament, or something like a pvp match (where everyone has to have set gear [like full iron, 5 gapples, bow and 64 arrows and an iron sword, nothing else])
Alternatively, you could just do another draw similar to this one.

Yeah, it took me 2 and a half hours, but it was worth it in my opinion as I am pretty happy with how it turned out

What have you done to make ECC a better place?:
Well, before even becoming a staff member I was always there helping community members by providing plots and free services. Furthermore I assisted users by answering their questions and showing them around our server.
A little bit more than a year ago I got into the staff team and ever since I've never been more enthusiastic with helping community members. I continued doing what I always did but moreover brought order in the community and ensured that everyone is enjoying their time on our server.

Why do you play ECC?:
At first I joined Ecocitycraft as I was looking for a server to play with my brother on. We invited an IRL friend too and had fun as we made little amounts of money to get a plot together. After managing to make enough money to rank up, our next goal was to get mayor to rank up, and that is when I played ecc to become a successful community member. During 2013 and 2014, I stayed on Ecocitycraft for the community and my friends as I have achieved a lot and there's no reason but the community to keep on playing. I still do have goals set for me to achieve but finishing them is not a priority as it used to be.

Blue.

Do you plan to get donation features or the ECD?:
The donation feature would be nice as it would make me closer to achieving my goal of [*VIP*]

If ECD, what do you plan to do with the money?:
Save it up for donation features.

If features, what features do you plan to get?:
I'm going for two more pets in my /pet collection (Achieving the [*VIP*] and having another pet medal, two birds one stone).

If there was another competition for a donation feature, what would you want the competition to be? Try to make it as fair as possible for everyone.
Competitions are hard to make fair to be honest. PVP ones are skill and ping based, as those with better skill and ping are more likely to succeed in those. Building competitions are somewhat unfair as it requires skill and money for the material to build with (not everyone is rich enough for that). I'd say giveaways such as these or the random that andrew does when he comes online are most fair.
