Minecraft Username: maples 1 Brief Description: After using an enchanting table, the exp that is displayed on the tab screen did not go down to reflect the loss of levels the enchantment used. The /exp command gives the correct amount of exp. Logging out of ECC and completely closing the minecraft client and relauching did not fix this. Instructions: Use an enchanting table on a tool (not the expshop). How many times did you recreate this?: I have not been able to recreate this (as I first need to get the /exp command and the tab screen to match to try again). Result: The /exp and the tab screen exp don't match Expected Result: They should match. Evidence: Screenshot shows 3764 exp displayed on tab screen but the exp command says I have 2047. I also verified that I couldn't spend 2500 exp in the expshop to enchant a tool
Followup. The tab display now matches the /exp command and I don't remember if that was true when i first logged in this morning.
I've found that my tab exp does not update when I use an enchanting table, it does however update properly if I use any of the server shop signs with experience. (Enchantment signs and Nstars -> EXP)
Use /exp to view your exp. Tab's exp will never truly be accurate, this is an old bug that was explained in depth somewhere long ago.
