Very odd that it's behaving like this for you, I just tried it out and it seems to work fine for me. I'm gonna keep this one open for a bit to see if anyone else is having this issue and we'll go from there!
I can't replicate this either, even the link you gave prompts me to create a display name and enter my birthday.
