Minecraft Username: @UBeagle Brief Description: I was flying on Main server, went to Main North, then returned to main, and fly was disabled (couldnt even double tap space) and when I hit the ground I died (luckily with tombstone++ didnt have to worry about missing items). Instructions: 1. Be on Main, in /fly above land that doesn't have invincible flag 2. Go to Main north 3. Return to Main 4. Fall to your death without the ability to fly or double tap space without typing /fly. How many times did you recreate this? Tried several times, i died each time i fell in a non invincible region Result: Death/Damage Expected Result: Fly to still be enabled. Evidence: just in game death? easily repeatable
I cannot reproduce this. Attempted via staff account as well as an alt account, both with FlyingPlus package following your exact steps. Will need far more information / reproducible steps.
This has been happening to me and like 5 others at least that I know of. It seems to be when you switch servers but it doesn't do it every single time but often enough to become annoying. The steps are literally what it says on this report so I can't explain it any better than that. Fly is literally turned off and if you were in the air when switching then you fall to the floor. Typing /fly again after this says fly is now enabled. Edit: was just thinking about it further and I've only noticed this happening in rising, but I haven't done any tests in the mining world as of yet or noticed it.
Fly always disables for me when I switch servers. Luckily I've always been on the ground when switching sides. But it pretty much disables every time. Will try and find a way of reproducing.
OK, so more information.... i was in FLY on Main (floating in air) when i went to MN i double clicked spacebar to either fly up.. or drop down.... went back to M and fell. think it has to do with toggling any type of fly in a different server, that disables fly in the previous server. video attached
This is still happening and I'd say it's worse now. Every single time you switch server /fly is disabled. Edit: switching between worlds on each server is fine (/warp mining, /warp rising etc) but switching between /m /mn and /me is what disables fly.
I've added this to our development investigation todo list. No ETA on it, but we'll check it out when we have a chance.
This has now been fixed and will be live after our next maintenance. Please let us know how it goes @UBeagle @Mission001 @blazwura97. Maintenance will be complete in about 1-2 hours.
