Maybe to have them as a donation feature but to find in chests would be to op against people who actually spend money on the server to make better. -1
I don't think item spawning is handled on a per-chest basis, and even if it was, who wants to go through each of the maps and choose which of the chests are the "hardest to reach." Also, getting players trapped so that the game drags on is not a good idea.
No, the game wouldnt drag on.. The players would know where those spots would be, and kill them easily with a bow or something.
If the players all knew where these spots were, the diamonds wouldn't be all that special to get. You also ignored my entire point about how unfeasible this would be for the admins/devs.
I know that is my point.. I dont want diamonds in sg.. That's why my first one said one diamond per game. As for the thing about being able to code it.. I knew that.. It was wishful thinking.
Ok, sorry to come across as harsh then. I would caution you that even sympathizing with the other side will contribute to their cause.
[Suggestion] /kit diamond, /kit diamond+ [Info] Literally a kit that gives you a diamond sword with 20 hits on it. Has an 8hr cooldown time. diamond+ is 6hr cooldown [Why?] Adding in diamonds for everyone is going to cause a problem, but if a kit were added, then it would be regulated, in a way. the normal /kit diamond would be able to be bought with IGM through an application, like 10-15k. To reduce cooldown, get the plus version. [Other] Okay, this obviously isn't a real suggestion, but I personally say no, because then the encouragement to buy a kit or two will decrease. This makes diamonds available, and another kit to donate for is added. Plus, removes some money from the economy with the application, in a sense giving most people the best of both worlds. ~Monkeyz505
I honestly think Diamonds are being thought of the wrong way. It appears that non kitters are going "Yeah, diamonds would really help us gain an advantage." Now, lets be serious. Let us consider the following. Lets say for example we make 1/50 chests have a diamond. If a game has 100 chests, then there are supposedly 2 diamonds out there. So, the odds are that 2 different players will get those diamonds. Now let us continue down this path. 2 users with 1 diamond each can't do anything with the diamonds. You know who has a higher probability of killing those two users? A Kitter. Logically speaking no matter how rare you make them, kitters will have the higher chance of getting the diamond gear. Why? Because they don't need diamonds to kill you. Now imagine them with diamonds and well they are 10x worse. Then there is the other end of the spectrum. Make diamonds super common. Now everyone has them, good right? Then Mr. Buffer comes in and buffs his diamond sword and you're dead. Look, we added iron ingots and gold ingots to increase the non kitters chances a bit and give you something to find and craft. Diamonds is going a little too far. If SG gets diamonds then it will likely end with more anger and more rage about kitters. It will not level the playing field.
-1 Like i said many times , i wouldnt buy kits if this is implemented since the diamond swords act as kits
There would still be a huge advantage to kits. Adding diamonds creates a very small chance of getting the beast weapons. Buying kits gives you a 100% chance of getting good weapons.
