A lot of times, a regular member will leave feedback on a staff application. However, they soon become staff. As you know, staff members are not allowed to reply on staff applications unless they have a reason like locking the application. I am suggesting that posts that have been posted by a previous normal member that is a current staff member would be deleted. Thanks
I'm... not sure. I see your logic, but the reason staff members are not allowed to comment -in my understanding- is not that "there must not be comments belonging to a staff member" but rather "we don't want people who are already staff to influence the discussion", or something along those lines. IMHO, if those comments were made while the user was not staff yet, they are completely legit; and removing them would only be an unnecessary alteration of that thread's historic record.
Staff applications are deleted after each round. As for the suggestion, I don't really see much use for this.
I agree with @Expipiplusone here; their feedback is totally valid even if they get promoted later on in the cycle. It's useful to keep those comments because it shows what those people were thinking before becoming staff. -1
nonstaff members are allowed to comment on staff apps as they please, and going through all the apps after we promote people to see if those people have posted just seems like work for the sake of work
