When:
Sunday, June 21st, at 2pm EST
This will be Swiss Tournament Style, similar to how the Spleef competitions are run. Each team to sign up will play two rounds to start.
Final match-ups will be determined by points won in the first two rounds. After the first two rounds the top 4 or 8(depends on how many teams sign up) teams will compete in elimination rounds for the top prizes!

Prizes:
1st Place: $80 GC or ECD
2nd Place: $70 GC or ECD
3rd Place: $60 GC or ECD
4th Place: $50 or ECD
and 10,000 ECD for every 50 points you have scored from your rounds.

Rules:
No hacking(duh?) or unfair play
No use of the /back command, if you die you will need to use your assigned warp to re-enter.
No use of any commands that give you an advantage in the match.
You shouldn't bring any items to the match, everything you need will be provided.
You must do /cheats off before you begin your match.
Fly will be disabled.
McMMO will be disabled.
A number of commands will be disallowed, chat and party chat commands will be allowed.
TL : DR, don't cheat or use anything that gives an advantage. This is grounds for DQ/match loss for you.

Good Sportsmanship is required. Poor sportsmanship and/or disruptive behavior may result in a DQ and/or a removal from the server entirely for the duration of the event.
Use your common sense and don’t be an idiot.
Lastly, have fun!

How to play:
The object of your match is to destroy the enemy team's base while fighting off the other team. You will be armed with a basic set of tools
Full set of iron armor
Knockback 2 Stick
Iron Sword
Stone Pickaxe
Food(Cooked Steak)
You and your teammate will participate in a team-vs-team(1v1) battle and attempt to dominate the other team. You have five minutes to destroy the other team's base while defending your own. You will be awarded points based on how much of your base remains at the end of each round. Beware of standoffs, if you tie with the other team you will have to participate in Sudden Death!

Scoring:
Each match will have a time-limit of five minutes.
The match will end either when one team base is completely destroyed or the time runs out.
At the end of the match each will receive points based on how many blocks of their base remains(referred to as base-points). Earning more points for defending your base well may guarantee your team a top 8 spot.
For this event the base is worth 125 points. Any blocks broken on the base will result in a lose of overall points for that round.

In the event of a tie:
If there is a tie in base-points when a match ends via time-out then the teams will participate in a "Sudden Death" match. The teams will face off and the first team to die(both members dead) will lose the round, their base points will also be halved and then applied to their score. The winning team gets full base-points awarded.
You are expected to show for your match(so be on time when the event begins) a no-show will result in a DQ from the game and your teammate(if present) may be paired with someone else if agreed.
