An overused term on this server - the only truly "permabanned" users are normally those that commit paypal fraud (which Andrew takes very seriously BTW). Reading the complaints, it looks very much like the staff has left open the ability for dg to appeal. While I appreciate the thought and concern behind this, I feel this will present many issues when (or if) dg appeals. Part of appealing is having to repay the debts to prove commitment to returning to the server. How will this be done?
Dagamerman is an alt of a user permabanned for paypal fraud If he does somehow appeal, he will still have to pay back what he owes, we're only giving people the money they loaned to dagamerman, not the money he owes them. Even if we did give the money he owes back he would have to pay it off.
To whom will he pay it off? Or am I to assume that the players that loaned him the money will just get paid twice?
No. Buddermanrules paid the money back to the server, however his account could not be banned. Therefore without telling the public anything staff allowed him to come back on, since he paid the server back.
I suppose they just get paid twice, we're not paying on his behalf. He pays off the full loan if he appeals, we're not paying on his behalf. matrix_rep has asked me if he could help manage the process of approving people's evidence/loans, so that's what he'll be doing, thanks matrix
My loan with Dagamerman isn't due yet, but I suppose I might as well add it to the ever growing list. 300k with 600k pay back. http://i.imgur.com/zlNjHe3.png
It's super outdated. I gave up on updating mods/smods and just threw them all into "staff". I'll add it to the never ending list of things to fix in my macros.
I'd like to mention, I loaned Dagamerman 100k. 250k was actually due today (180k originally + 70k late fees from a week ago)
Regarding paying people, should we pay whoever applies first? I was thinking of giving the people with the smallest paybacks their money first.
