Yeah, at this point I think ill just go with my setup, and perhaps scrape up some extra money for a good keyboard and/or mouse. *STILL OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS*
I doubt that unless it is an 1680x1050 resolution.. I have Ultra settings at 1920 x 1200 on my 580GTX 3GB and i'm sure i dip below 60 FPS as is shown on the chart above.
Meh it won't post, and I went back a page >.> Yeah I realize I was looking at the 6970 My brother has a 23" screen and I go to the room over and ask him what his settings are... not max I lied Bottom line I'd go with the 580 and save myself some money then grab a better keyboard / mouse like I suggested ALSO! Do you know how to put together a computer correctly and hook up the pw sw and stuff ant?
Well ant... There's one more thing you can do... Scrape off as much of that stuff as you can and get two 7970s ...whilst keeping the 2500k as to avoid a bottleneck
Yes Keep the psw (eh you'll probs needa replace that with more watts), mobo, get the two cards, and keep the 2500k Then get cheaper other parts if you're not doing much with that space you have (especially if you're not doing video editing or anything)
This is my first build, and for the tut I'm using Newegg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_56kyib ... ure=relmfu Tell me if you know of a better one, or can give some tips.
By pwr switch, do you mean the part in the tutorial where he makes it out of the box and switches it on by shorting 2 pins or w/e? Because I'm probably going to put it inside the box... And just be extremely careful not to screw up. Approximately how much time should it take for a first build? Should i just do it on a saturday or devote my whole weekend to it?
My first build took me 30+ hours... (95% of that figuring out where to connect the damn pwr switch with my old aloe board...) My second build on a proper board with labels took me an hour. Nowadays I've been over 30 computers for my friends and sisters friends (she gets me business) It takes 15-20 minutes if I screw in stuff fast Back to my problems, Should I just add another 560 Ti since I've been neglecting my gpu for a while or should I buy a 680 or 580 or 570 or 7970
280 is better than paying 500+ for a new card and have less performance than if you just paid the 280.
