I didn't really know how to title this but basically I want to create cool stuff that could look awesome. I have paint.NET currently and do NOT have to access to things that cost money. Any ideas on how I could become good at create drawings and/or other artistic things (lol I don't know ). I know that @tommied7 is very skilled at this. Don't really know about anyone else.
Paint.NET is useful, but limited. You need Photoshop to go further, but what you have is a good program to start with.
Photoshop is good if you have like $600 lying around (you can get a free 30 day trial at adobe.com). You can try sumopaint.com which I personally believe is a step up from paint
Photoshop CS2 is free. I've created most of my creations on that version. <3 I'm not half bad with Photoshop. :3 Been making gfx for over 10 years now, if you need help, I tutor people by way of tutorials. Get PSCS2 and then we can talk.
