I just had @zorracraft install a cooking pot for me, and it's awesome. I cooked a full inventory of potatoes and it didn't even start to make a dent, I think I'll never finish all that fuel lol :D
Anyway I couldn't help but try to understand how it works, and... it doesn't make any sense.
I can't really find a sensible meaning for the numbers. Yes, I know that the top one should be the "amount of fuel left" and the bottom one should be the "number of uses left" or something like that (whatever it means), but... well, in my experiments I've seen this:

• first it was 102000 102000 (how he left it)
  
• then i started to cook: the bottom one became 101999, while the top one went down 50 by 50 for each item cooked. this seemed to make some sense, even though the unit was still a puzzle.
• then i loaded it with a piece of coal: the top didn't change, while the bottom one went up to 102039: 40 more (wait, wat? how is it possible that a single piece of coal cooks 40*102k/50 = 80k+ items?)
  
• then i cooked loads of potatoes, almost a full inventory.
• when the top number was 1000 i was damn sure i could have cooked 20 more potatoes, so i cooked 19 expecting it to stop at 50.
• what happened: the top one went to 102089, while the bottom one to 103038. :cautious:

WAT?

TL;DR: the numbers seem to behave funny, does anyone know what those numbers mean? :confused:

 

This looks suspiciously like someone messed with the code using at a certain point one variable instead of another
