I can probably help a bit with this. Been in a long distance relationship for nearly 2 years now and we live in different countries. We play games together, too. Computer games like Burnout Paradise, or puzzle games. Find a game you both like and play it at the same time. You could help each other out with levels or laugh over having trouble. There are also mmorpgs, which is an online multiplayer game. The most popular one I know of is World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings online (although we don't play them). If you do some searching you might be able to find a game that interests both of you... and the cool thing about it is actually being able to interact with each other, be along aside each other, etc even if it is just virtual.
What andrew is saying is that such a maneuver would cause so much lag his face is already freezing up.
