So, just to clarify.
Do we essentially need to tag people in contracts?
I have seen 4 or 5 contracts have the people who have agreed to the original post not tag themselves in their post.
I have been told that its down to the discretion of the mod doing the contract? Is that the case or is there a actual ruling on the issue?
Afterall, I dont want to tell people who im making contracts with that they dont have to tag their post and then have a staffer come in and say they need to retag their name.
If they dont, then does the person making the contract need to tag people? Or tag ever single name?
Is tagging the user once enough?
Just trying to clarify things here.
Thanks
@Mission001

Dewsy's post says:
"Tagging Usernames
Every single time a username is mentioned, it must be tagged using @. This includes the person agreeing to the contract."
and Physicistsmom's post doesn't say anything about it.

Take a look and you will see much discrepancy between contracts and the requirements regarding what Mission is asking. Some ask for the tag, some do not not, and some ask for, do not get it and still approve the contract.
This should be a simple issue to resolve and would save many headaches and confusion for players.
Either way, I personally am so appreciative of all of our staff and the work that they are doing for us! -

Hello Mission, I understand the discrepancies you are facing. Tagging users is mainly used to identify the user in the case their name is changed. Some mods overlook this but it depends on the mod who is handling (simple mistake). To be safe I would tag all instances where a username is stated.

Greetings,
I was always told that excessive tagging was not allowed. Then, for the past two contracts, I have been told to tag my own name in my own post. I can see tagging the other person, once in the beginning, but to tag my own name? I feel I don't need to tag myself in my own post. To me that seems excessive. But that is just my opinion. -

I still see this going on and the rules state that all usernames must be tagged.
Still haven't got any confirmation of the ruling as I have seen contracts accepted without fully tagged names.
Thanks-

All names in contracts must be tagged.
I could see a singular exception in commands; if the contract says @Player will do /rg ao GenericTown OtherPlayer, then OtherPlayer's name would not need to be tagged in that line.
If you see contracts being approved without usernames tagged please contact me.-
