31 hours ago there was an update when I connected to Ecc so I waited until it was back online. Took roughly an hour then I realized that the amount of players button on ecc.com had just turned back to online, with roughly 60-80 players online at that time. Trying to connect to ecc it would usually say, "connecting" then straight to "logging in" and 5 seconds later I am connected. But for the past day and a half after "logging in" for 30 seconds it would say "times out". After trying to connect again multiple time again and again, I kept getting the same message. So of course, it must be my internet (charter). But it would still just time out. So I tried resetting my router several times, disassembling the cords that make my router functions then ugh i g them back in, uninstalling minecraft, refreshing minecraft, tweaking my firewall, updating laptop software, restarting my laptop (4 times), and removing all my minecraft files other than saved maps. I also cant connect over minechat unless I do it over 4G. Yet no matter what I do, when I click connect its says logging in... Then 5 seconds later, Timed out. I have done my research before posting, and the overall conclusion is that my internet (charter high speed internet, that I have never has a problem with before) is either to weak to support this particular server, because it works on others, or its on the other end of the connection. Seeing how the most armature answer to this problem will be "restart your router" I already have. And "there's other people playing right now so it's not ecc's fault" I am also aware of that, so let's not state those obvious accusations please.

I see recently @asiasi27 is also having a similar problem. And @monsteromen fixed his problem.

Wont work on my internet but it can on my 4g, and it doesn't matter what computer I am on as well.
*edit- it constantly "ping"'s until it times out/disconnects -

Wait for kuke to come to the rescue. He should have an answer for you :)

He's ignored the question for 2 days -.- I messaged him when I first couldn't connect, so hopefully he'll respond here rather than a convo.

Are you using any mods?
Are you on 1.7.9?
Do you use any firewall that might block connections from minecraft?
Try opening command prompt (type cmd in the start menu on windows), or terminal (mac/linux) and type in "ping mc.ecocitycraft.com" without the quotes and copy paste the result (or screenshot) -
I have solved my problem by resetting my router completely, as if it was brand new. It needed a couple updates and then I had to reconnect to charter, which messed up my home phone connection and the tv was down but solved earlier today /.\ point being, i'm reconnected. (Not recommended, unless last resort)
-I dont use any mods
-I run 1.7.9
-I added ecc to bypass my firewall
-Didn't do the last suggestion due to reconnecting to charter at that time.
