I was watching this whole thing closely, and I was going to stop them if they were breaking any rules. To be honest, they weren't breaking any rules. Unless I am mistaken, the rule stating that you must return items upon death only applies to the town Athens. This "player event" was held in the wild. Furthermore, its the players choice when and if he/she wants to use the teleport command for someone, so the fact that he denied you of it isn't breaking any rules.

I'm sorry that you lost your items, but all I can say is next time be aware of the risks involved in a player-made event.

 

Hello, this is Sios, the host of our little Double Helix Competition.

The reward in place was a chest at the top with a diamond in each chest.

The rules that were stated said that teleportation was a ONE TIME use only, that you [the competitors] could NOT knock the Double Helix down and that the /back command was not to be used to re-compete.

You were able to push off any competitors that were jumping with you and so on.


Nothing was said about us not being able to knock the Double Helix down nor anything concerning your mortality in possible jeporady.

The competition was optional and your greed to compete was on your behalf, not mine.

Please understand the conditions of the competition and understand through my point of view that it was your choice for competition.
