Recently, my son and I's island was griefed and looted. Sometime Friday during the evening hours is when we noticed.

He had unfortunately not locked his chests nor his furnaces, and lost diamonds, gold and iron (smelting). As well as my paintings (don't ask me why) and our garden was stripped (20x10 wheat and potatoes).

We went strip mining Friday night (last night) to recoup some of our losses and came back /home to our replanted garden gone as well as a broken window in his house. Frustrated, we kept mining to save for Mayor.

Back on our island a bit later, we ran into JASSIMQ. He admitted to taking the items in chat with me, claiming "unlocked chests".

While understandable for a people roaming the wilds to come across a house and help themselves, jassimq has made an actual /sethome (or some other way of porting to us) and repeatedly comes by to loot our garden and break a few things in our houses. My glass floor was missing a few panes today, as well as the 20x10 garden completely empty.

Now, my first interaction with jassimq was when he ported out to my house to erepair. He was fine then and I thought nothing of it. But he must have used that time to sethome so he could come back and see what he could steal.

Now, I have an application in for Mayor so this will be moot in the future, but is this accepted behavior on the server? I have taken it upon myself to warn people looking for erepairs that jassimq is an admitted thief, and they need to make sure they are protected.

Is there no way to get him to leave us alone? It's moving into stalker behavior now, with repeated lootings.

I think it's deplorable that he uses his business as a front to steal from people and damage their property.

I'd post screens but I didn't catch him in the act of taking things, just his admission to me as well as a Global chat comment he made about "locked chests".

Puts a sour taste in the mouth and the server.
