-$- Piville monument competition #2 -$-
Hello everybody,
I am currently building my town of Piville, a planned 400x400 dedicated to the four european capitals Berlin, London, Paris and Rome. My current project is the Rome district. As the heart of the 200x200 Rome area, I am planning to place the Colosseum (Quicklink to Wikipedia). I am willing to give a prize money of 25,000$ to the one who enters with his best replica of it until september 14th. The base area is defined as a 65x65. It can be a little smaller if you need to. If you want to participate, please sign up until september 14th with the following format:
Code:IGN: Width: Length: Height: Approximate /sell-value: Screenshots: (Optional) Dropbox download link:
I will keep the competition running for 3 weeks, starting today. So the deadline will be
september 14th 2014
and then I will judge the entries. The winner will either be anounced the same day or the following day.
Build the colosseum in creative singleplayer (Best would be a superflat world) and then share it here.
You are allowed to make more than one entry, however, only one design/player will win. In case there are no good entries/no entries at all etc, I reserve the right to expand the time frame.
I am fond of details. The more details, the better! :)
Since I want the building to become a PvP arena, it is absolutely necessary to be able to enter the arena inside the building.
If you have any questions, ask them in this thread. If you make an entry, you are allowed to modify it after. As well, I will make suggestions what to improve.
Preferred main material (For the colour): Sandstone.

Good luck to all participants. May the best one win!

So 314 I'm guessing since Berlin had the gate (wow I know what it's name is but I can't remember) and the
colosseum that all of these towns will have one wonder/monument. -
If this competition turns out great as well, I will probably make one last one some day about the eiffel tower for PivilleParis. -

I would like to enter. I am considering stone bricks. I think that should work.

Important news. I found out that I can enlarge the available area. The maximum size is now 65x65 instead of 65x38. Use the full area if you need the space! :D

Attention. Only 12 days left.
I am awaiting your entries. I am so curious. :D
Remember, you have to post the finished version here before the deadline, although you may publish earlier versions and then improve. Only your last entry will be judged. If you have any questions concerning rules/design, (Forum) PM or /mail me. -

Generated the curves today. Made new world for bigger structure. Will add hypogeum if time permits. Retained snapshots of hypogeum. Colosseum is still one third the size of original.

Quartz is sort of expensive. The reason I chose stone is because it is closer to limestone. IRL, sandstone is kinda weak.
