Let’s have a mythic or tool of choice giveaway raffle that isn’t pay to win for one time does that sound epic
+1 Sounds good to me, but unfortunately it probably won't ever be accepted though. The raffle is just another incentive to buy god drops I'm pretty sure.

low-key this sounds like "give us free shit" this is where you lose me because almost any type of competition you'll end up with this sort of result. It's not like them doing this affected you in ANY way. Your tickets held the exact same odds of winning. You just didn't win.
I would like to respond to this by saying that I spent exactly $0 buying other people's tickets and won the top two prizes from the winter event. I spent 6 hours a day the entire month of December grinding out each and every one of my tickets. On a side note, since being back on the server for the past 3 months, I have accumulated $4,500 worth of donation features and have spent, again, $0 usd of my own money. Also during that time I have accumulated 1 of every single magic tool and item and many of which I have loads of duplicates of. The server is not pay to win, you just don't want to put in the requisite time and effort to achieve what some have.
It should be important to note that just because you personally have not spent real world cash on the server, does not define whether it is p2w or not. The server by definition is pay to win. If there is the possibility of gaining an advantage in the game by spending real world money (it is very clear that this is the case), then this is pay to win. There is no way around it. I thought I'd make this distinction clear as it pertains directly to the topic being discussed.
Your definition may be correct, but I've always thought pay to win meant you must pay to win. A possibility of paying for an advantage is kind of a reality of life, but doesn't mean if you aren't able to or willing to pay that you cannot win. It's hard to define what "winning" is in ECC and it can look very different to everyone. For example, you have accomplished things (air and grimoire) in this game that I could never even dream of accomplishing. I don't think that you must pay to "win" ECC it just takes some time and effort to succeed and that's why we're considered a hardcore economy server I believe.
The definition does not state whether players must pay to win. Simply that it is a possibility. You've also taken the word "pay-to-win" too literally. The term does not define whether you "win" or not, it defines whether paying players have advantages over free players. Players here are able to pay usd to gain ecd, features, and xp among other things. This allows them to gain a significant advantage over free players. This is undisputable. Moderator Schloty, please be honest and clear to your users when they ask this question. You represent the staff and the server when you take on your duties. My original answer is very direct and it should be the same answer you give to others who ask this question. Millions I got through playing the game. Didn't spend any usd or anything to do it. You play the game, progress and boom you can have the ECD to spend like me aswell. Also Schloty won the Tool of Choice by grinding his ass off. He had just the same ammount of raffle tickets as me, only difference is I bought mine and he played for them. He deserved to win the tool of choice as he put many more hours into acquiring his raffle tickets then me. Schloty won the tool of choice fair and square
I’ve spent 0 usd also and have made much also does not mean the server is not pay to win. You can easily buy god drops to get tools and sell them and use the ecd to progress
That’s what my main point is. A while back they did a giveaway of a god drop that everyone got 1 entry for just visiting some server and voting or something like that I forgot and it was impossible to pay to win (except for people who have multiple account but that’s like 1or 2 extra entrees)
lol no, ive only bought 1 god drop when I first started playing again, which pushed me over the 2500$ goal for sponsor
On the opposite end, I know quite a few people that have spent thousands and are now broke in game. Soooo something to be said about that.
it's not impossible at all. even if entries aren't directly transferrable like they were in the winter raffle, there's nothing to stop bobby for paying me X amount now and he gets the tool if I win. Of course server wise the tool would go to be, but I would still be obligated to win. It's no different. You're just salty you get out grinded.
